Re: Waiting on the world to change
i guess no one read my post... owell
"WHICH IS BEING WASTED ON WARS!" WAr is stupid, i know, yet we have to go to it because other people are doing things which should not happen, take the IRAQ war for example... why do you think we are going there? It isn't to kill innocent iraquies, it is to destroy the terorists, we arn't doing anything to the iraquies, THEY are. And as i've said, we ARE paying for the oil we harvest, some just think we are going over there and saying "give me your oil or DIE". WE are trying to make IRAQ a peaceful and democratic country so that people can have great lives over there, WHICH NO MONEY COULD BEAT.
Deforestation: Many trees have been cut down due to increasement in technology, yet they have been all to good use, and trees are growing wild every day. We wont run out of oxygen anytime soon like those greenie teachers say, we are fine, animals homes have been destroyed, but that life.
Polution: Polution is a big problem, yet i think we are trying to fix this, they are inventing electric cars as we speak, and are finding better ways to help the environent. Humans can be blamed for this, yet we shouldn't be,we do need a cheap and egffective way to move around because ofcource, we arn't dragons
Throwing in something myself, being a dragon would not be my ideal wish, it would defiently be immortality, i am very afraid of dieing, using up all my youth, it terrorizes me to think.
We, as i have said, are too formal, and our education system is all screwed up as i've talking about in my "school" topic which is now on atleast page 2.

Re: Waiting on the world to change
Well at least you aren't taken into society..I would dearly want to be a dragon..I don't feel comfortable as a hume...and war doesn't solve anything..it just creates more and more problems, and in the process..those who meant no harm end up killed. I just want to break free of my skin..I want to see the REAL world, not a world AT war!

Re: Waiting on the world to change
THe people who first go to war are the idiots, the people who fight back have a meaning, because we can not just back down.
In IRAQs sake, it is the terrorists who started the war, not us americans.
Being a DRagon in a peaceful, fantasy world would be brilliant, i could just relax, not think about when i am going to die, if i have to do my homework or not.

Re: Waiting on the world to change
Well, humans are totally oblivious to space around them. Did you know that humans know of only 2% of the night sky? So, eventually a meteor will strike earth and humans will be wiped out. Or, a nuclear war will occur which is much more likely. The U.S.A has good intentions but it will all end in chaos, if we pulled out of Iraq, the terrorists would take over again so all the soldiers' deaths would be in vain. If we stay, more innocent people will die. It's a no win situation. This is how I want the world to be someday, after 2012. http://youtube.com/watch?v=1mG21iUCC9g

Me too... So I don't get nuked or wiped out.
Big chunks of rocks from space CAN be deflected by nuclear missiles, so nukes are not all bad.

Dragons aren't affected by nuclear radiation. Don't ask how I know, well, Arcane SHOULD know by now.

Re: Waiting on the world to change
And there's programs dedicated to finding asteroids that may cause Earth harm. They've identified any that threaten us in the next few hundred years, none will hit us, some will come close, though. If they find any on a collision course with Earth, they will have hundreds of years to think of how to deflect it before it reaches us.

Boy.... So that means if I was a dragon I could wander in areas with Ionizing Radiation? Nice.

Yes... They scan the skies and as I have said, a nuclear blast will deflect that rocky away.

Re: Waiting on the world to change
Anything can happen to the world. I saw once this document what told that 30 000 tons of spacejunk falls to earth everyday. Small meteor stones mostly.
I just watch and wait and see what comes in the future.

Re: Waiting on the world to change
Space Junk easily burns up in the atmosphere safely. Meteors like the KT event that wiped out the dinosaurs, are very improbable.

How? How do dragons not be affected by nuclear radiation? While in science, we all know that radiation attacks the DNA of the creature or living thing itself. How?

Re: Waiting on the world to change
LoneKnight: Yes, we know no asteriod will hit earth for hundreds of years but if we missed one we have no way of stopping it. No amount of nukes can stop an asteroid and NASA knows it.
DDD: Dragons have an internal organ structure far different than any other creature on earth. For example, cockroaches wouldn't be killed after a nuclear holocaust. How do you think we breathe fire? If a human could do it, they would burn their lungs out in a single breath. Take my word.
By the way, Science isn't 100%. It usually is correct but not always. True you can guess why a star exploded 100 billion light years away but humans are far too weak minded to truely understand it. There is only one human who I have ever met that can understand it.

It *cannot* be stopped by nukes, yes, but it *can* be deflected away with nukes so it won't go crash-course to earth.

That would be "Doppel" for short. ![]()
I see. Cockroaches have adapted for nuclear radiation. Dragons can too AND have different structures than peeps.. I mean, if I try to blow fire at my state, I'll kill myself.

I know. Science can't explain how the world originated AND some other things. Though I am a "Science Consultant" (discusser) myself, I know it has limits.
You know the "Big Bang Theory?" Yes, a meteor exploded, spawning the world we know. But where did the meteor came from? Who created it?

Ah... We may never know.

I am scared of dying, without any fun.
Hmm... If I was a dragon, I would fly at top speed and see how great it is! Oh well... Chances are almost nil of becoming one.
