Re: Waiting on the world to change
Yeah and many Islamites are terrorists because they want to revenge something what happened to Abraham over 2000 years ago! Thats what I've heard.
And Doppel... There is also Atomic power what was first used in Atomic Bombs. Afterwards there is atomic power plants.
New powers people have discovered have been always more dangerous. Chernobyl is one example.
So many people die for nothing everyday...
Chernobyl was an accident. that was one of the first nuclear power plants. just an overheated generater or cooling system.better technology has made nuclear power one of the safest now.

Re: Waiting on the world to change
the fact that the world is too formal and some things are too worried about
Too formal... *sigh* You know what? We wrote three personal reflections about my life. Of course, I toned down my reflections as I never trust them on that. And, the paper was returned to me with complaints of it being "too in-formal" and "spoken english." You know how infuriating it is?
I wrote my PERSONAL REFLECTION at my OWN viewpoint, so what if I cut the crappy formalities or use my own spoken english with annotations and slang and shorthand? I choose to because THAT is how I reflect. And they gave me a big REWRITE order because they can't accept it.
What? Too un-formal? Honestly, I don't give a *bleep* about formalities and hate people trying to change the way I write my opinions by ramming the "correct way" down my throat!

Re: Waiting on the world to change
The world won't change unless someone or some organization puts its foot down a makes drastic changes to the world. Unfortunately, one of the only few ways of solving so many world problems is literally by cutting the Human population down by at least 1/3. That's around 2 billion extra people that we don't need. 90% of our problems are due to overpopulation, because it results in more food being needed, more water, more space, more land being destroyed to fill that ever-growing well that is more Humans. Population needs to be regulated. How can this be solved? World War III, anyone?
If World War III ever comes, I have a feeling that more nukes will be used. That would poison the landscape with radiation and make problems worse.

How else do you suggest we radically cut the Human population? There's no humane way of doing it.

If NASA was actually doing something other than wasting billions of dollars to collect unnecessary information, we could move some of our population to another celestial body. I hear that they're considering bringing Io close to Earth if they ever need to do this.

Dont ask me what those Extremeist muslims think in Iraq, what they are trying to prove blowing up Innocent Iraqies and Americans. It Makes me sick. They want to rid of the non-believers and make it a pure muslim world, they wont let us believe what we want to believe in. SEveral wars started because People wanted everyone to be or act a certain way, some have strted through jealosy, and yet the western world has not realy startedthese wars, and believe me, we dont't want to go to war, but we have to, otherwise these people will take us over and do inhumane things. Americans, stop thinking that you or Bush is doing something wrong, because you nor bush are, it is the *bleep* terrorist's fault
BTW, if you didn't realise, America are PAYING for the oil which they harvest from Iraq, they arnt taking it for free. And Americans arn't killing innocent Iraquies either

Yeah, but we don't have the technology yet, and to get that technology NASA needs more money, WHICH IS BEING WASTED ON WARS!
What do you mean by unnecessary information? They're trying their hardest.

Re: Waiting on the world to change
Doppelgangergang: Since the beginning of time humans have always caused war. There has never been a time in HUMAN history in which there hasn't been a war or some type of conflict in the world. Whos fault is it for the rainforests being depleted? Humans./ Whos fault is it for polution? Humans. Can't you all just get along! No dragon would ever kill another of his own species. Humans have killed billions of their own kind in history! The world would be a better place without them! On this earth, there are only a few humans who actually deserve to live in my opinion. Go ahead, flame me, but you cannot deny the truth.

Re: Waiting on the world to change
I bet most of us want to just get out of this world!I would actually give up all my stuff, just to be a dragon.I'd want to live where it soo tropical that'd I cry. Also man tries to take control of everything..the animals, the mountains, all that. And if we are to find life out there..it will be worse...we may just get OUR planet destroyed in the process. We try to make things better when all we need are the natrual things around us.We don't need 5 expensive cars,or a mansion. All we need is a car that can run,a house to live in,and food, and god. Also WE DO NOT NEED ANY CLONES!!!Why do scientist make them is far trying my patience! We are not to be playing GOD!

[RANT MODE: ON!]
Also WE DO NOT NEED ANY CLONES!!!Why do scientist make them is far trying my patience! We are not to be playing GOD!
You see, we had an open discussion on cloning when I was in Grade 9. Before the first sheep-clone, Dolly, was manufactured (yes, cloning is a manufacturing process), dozens of dozens of incorrect and defective sheep were produced. They have monstrous heads, died instantly, missing parts and kind of "living but shredded... thing." Now, if we are to clone humans.... We have a problem. Manufacturing "defective" animals are bad, but if we ramp it up to humans.... How many "defective units" would they produce and experiment on before they make a "working replica?" Playing with life and throwing it around is definitely maddening.

I'm not worried of a monster that will smash us, BUT what is worrying is that laboratories will create "useless" clones of people just for show. That is very nasty.

Actually, we don't need clones to make world hunger worse. :-| It's overpopulation and then the big corps won't like to sell food for cheap because it will cause the stock markets to crash.
And investors will lose their $$$, and they don't want that. They go up into burning grain silos or even hiding all the food to keep the prices jacked. :-[
