i like Gnasty Gnorc and Metalhead the best. Gnasty was really easy for the last boss though.

When first starting out Spyro 1, I found Toasty's level so hard cuz've all those dogs. I didn't know you could just roll and they'd miss you tongue

Mine has got to be Gnasty Gnorc, just because he is real cool looking! Metal Head was also really cool!

Also, Gnasty Gnorc is not that easy to beat! Though it can be pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

the hard part with gnasty gnorc is those platforms that go into the walls at the end of the leval I died twice on those

The only part I really had trouble with was catching him, but once I figured that out, the rest I found very easy.

Do you know what I just realised? The bosses in Spyro 1 are not really bosses... More of levels with a big bad guy at the end. In Spyro 2 and Spyro 3 they are bosses you fight in arenas rather than at the end of levels. Also, their portal is not located in the homeworlds, but you go to their arena place after beating the homeworld.

Yeah, that's it. I wish they'd kept the Bosses the style of Spyro 1 though. I liked that and thought it was quite an original idea. Every game has arena-bosses!

Open to interpretation, I guess. I'd probably like it more if the arenas weren't always the same. They just had one specific type in Spyro 2, and one in Spyro 3.

A hard choice between Blowhard (awsome music), Toasty (No sheep were harmed in the creation of this game. A few gnorcs, but no sheep), Doctor Shemp (*makes the finger gun, points it, and says: "Boom"), and of course, Gnasty Gnorc (used to have such a hard time getting through the platforms, but now it's like 'I can't beleive I used to think this was hard!').

Just beat the game again today I would have to say Gnasty Gnorc was my favorite boss for sure it was fun toasting that Gnorc.

I actually like the arenas more than the spyro 1 bosses. It didnt feel like you were really acheving anything in Spyro 1 whereas in Spyro 2 and 3 it does. Anyway now my favourite boss is probaly MetalHead. My opinion changes all the time.

Gnasty Gnorc has to be the best! Although the bosses in Spyro 1 seem way to easy compared to the other games.

Would be cool if you actually fought Gnasty Gnorc head to head, not him running away and two hits killing him...

Ah well it was after all the first game!
