Re: The Official Ignitus Fan Club
Wisdom may not have anything to do with making a plan, but intelligence does. Ignitus is known for making plans. Intelligence would measure the ability of coming up with plans in advance, in case the plans don't work out. Or, he could've turned back, and rested a bit, regaining his energy, and then shot them off from outside of the Belt, which is a logical choice.

Re: The Official Ignitus Fan Club
We have no idea who wide the Belt of Fire was. We couldn't have known what he was thinking. But there was no way he could have turned back. And all plans have flaws. That was his.

Re: The Official Ignitus Fan Club
True, but, when he shot them across the Belt, the distance he shot them across was greater than how far they had gone into the Belt, and he was running out of energy. So, if he shot them across from the other side, where he had more energy than where he shot them off. So technically, he should've been able to shoot them across the Belt without any problems.

Re: The Official Ignitus Fan Club
Perhaps he had to be a certain distance. From the looks of it, they were about 20 feet away from getting out of the inferno part. So he shot them out there.

Re: The Official Ignitus Fan Club
Or, they could just as easily have been halfway, or less, through the Belt. And, they could've gotten out sooner, and with Ignitus surviving, if they ran or flew, while in the barrier, rather than walking, as that would cause Ignitus to have less time of using the barrier. And the way the characters can easily fly, it could've taken up less energy for them to fly through, than to walk, especially with Ignitus' significant, noticeable limp.

Re: The Official Ignitus Fan Club
Ok, you try holding a barrier up that is probably taking your strenth and fly. Good luck with that.

Re: The Official Ignitus Fan Club
I didn't say it would be easy, but the fact is, Spyro and Cynder were able to fly with little to no effort in the games and cutscenes. In theory, Ignitus should too. And there's also another thing I noticed. In ANB, Ignitus said that he's the master of fire, basically meaning that he's the strongest at using the fire element, other than a purple dragon. Ignitus has had more years of experience with fire than Spyro, so he'd be more in tune with it. He could possibly have separated the fire as they walked, but then let the fire that was behind them return to its original point. And since fire is as natural to him as walking, it would take up just as much energy, perhaps less. With those facts brought to mind, they could have ran through or walked through the fire, and Ignitus wouldn't have needed to use the barrier at all, and saved more energy.

Re: The Official Ignitus Fan Club
That also bugged me. If he is the fire dude, he should at least have a lot of resistance to it.
But still, he is old, so he doesn't have as much energy. Exspecially after being punted by the giant Golem. Doubt he could shrug that off easily.

Re: The Official Ignitus Fan Club
Yeah, seriously... talk about annoying. It's like they completely disregarded Ignitus' statements from ANB and TEN. Using a magical barrier most likely would've taken up more energy than using his own, innate abilities.

You have to close flame the little thigns that cause lava to go to the center of the door. Close the door, and get ready for reaction commands.

Eh, the discussion's pointless anyway. The fact is, we all agree that we don't like the fact that Ignitus died.

Re: The Official Ignitus Fan Club
Yeah, you're right. I'm getting close to getting the money to buying Dawn
of the Dragon. I want to see what's going to happen to Ignitus! Lets see... I
have $52 of a total of about... $70. Wow... I need $18 more! YEESSS!

you. Ignore all of them if you want. I just feel like I've been annoying you
with a bunch of music video requests.
-You seem to like music, and it's a great interest, too. You're a cool dude,
but it seems as if your life is a bit too busy these days. It's okay. You are
forgiven.
-How's school going for you, bro? Are you keepin your grades up? I would
be happy if I, at least, passed for the year.

Re: The Official Ignitus Fan Club
Wow. Looks like a lot has been said on this thread! O.o I feel sort of late in jumping on this particular bandwagon, but better late than never, I suppose.
Anyway. I like Ignitus. I think he's awesome in all three games, regardless of the amount of screentime he had in each, and I dislike what his fate was at the very end, but the fact remains that he is awesome.

I find it awesome that this thread has more posts than the Cynder one, who if you didn't know already, hate.
