i wish i still had spyro 1 i LOVED playing it SO SO SO much! but it dosent work no more :'( i loved the flying levels you could flap your wings with out going up! i never got to nastys loot. soon i want to buy it again. *edit* da** you! the newer spyro isnt BAD! EVERYONE KEEPS ANNOYING ME WITH THIS EVERYWHERE!!!!!

I think I agree with your opinion, Ratchet.
TLOS... to me it is very monotonous and boring. Fighting all the time... the ape sounds... just following one path... It is just not as good as the originals.

I think when people first played Spyro the dragon, they were expecting this fighting RPG where you go around and use dragon magic and do combo moves and crap, well that is NOT Spyro! Another dragon character maybe but NOT spyro. I wouldn't mind 1 Spyro game like this as a bit of a spinoff , but dont make it a habit. Spyro is not that kind of Character, he is not supposed to be a character involved with "the magic of dragons" and all that. Back to the main comment, Dragons are not all supposed to be combat creatures, but i see what you are trying to say... But Spyro's gameplay was never supposed to fit that medievil Gameplay of Fighting and stuff... have I said enough?

Hey I have my ups,and downs with (new)Spyro,and(old)Spyro.I can't believe that Sierra is making not just Spyro...but Crash too into combat ganes!They were suppose to be some of your best friends!Not to be in sorrow(Spyro)!

i agree with pretty much everything you're saying here, Ratchet xD
how often people talk about Spyro and Cynder being together, Sparx's role in the games, the general differences in the old/new games, etc.

imo, the only thing that makes TLOS better than the originals is the Infinite Health cheat. big_smile it makes the game easier, and i like easier games. not like TEN, where there's an attack and you die in 10 seconds o_o'

edit: i'm apparently better at TEN when i'm sick. when i'm fine and i play it, i suck. when i was sick for 2 days and i played it, i beat the scorpions, the Ravage Rider, the Executioner, and all the pirates (including Skabb!)

I find this actually the most insulting think that has been said on the forums, on the basis that it is not true and its just.... bullying.
Old Spyro HAS aged well, people are still playing them, looking for cheats and such (just look at all the youtube users out there that play old Spyro), theres been art, the originals have been trying to get onto the PLaystation network for some time now... the point is, th originals rule, and will forver, and they have aged greatly, unlike TEN and ANB.
PS.Luckily, this isn't really frequent, but i've heard one person say it, but i dont think it would be nice to say who.

There was another one i was going to do, but i forgot... maybe i'll remember soon.

yes, and that prooves that he has aged really well. I hate those people who just spurt out random arguements and expecting them to be true/ people who agree with them. And i know alot of People agree with this person, and that is no f***ing good.

I absolutely cannot stand people who argue with no logic whatsoever, and then insist that they're always right. That's probably why Admin and I fight so often -.- It's pathetic at best, people who just spew out the first thing they think of and expect to counter my point. Then they get ticked off when I don't agree, even though it should be glaringly obvious that their argument is invalid.

if a new spyro came out that was great, i'd love it, i'd probably find it hard at first to accept that its better than the games i grew up with, but i would.

Well firstly, Spyro was confident enough not to have a father figure, so having one wasn't needed, and same with a lover. Not to mention that Spyro isn't into the whole love thing, as he says in Spyro 3. Yeah, Ember doesn't count, thats good to hear, i dont like ember.

Hmm... I like both TLoS and Originals. I like the originals for fun and collecting things (I like collecting things even in real life), I play TLoS for storyline and action.

Crash, however, I haven't played that yet. I tried a mobile phone version but it isn't my type of game.

i am not really stating anything about why the originals are better or anything, i am just responding to stupid and frequent comments. All mobile games suck, try The PS1 crashes, they're very good platformers.

well saying that says the original spyro was not spyro!
Without the original spyro there would be no TLOS games,
so even if you are a complete TLOS fan, give the old orignal spyro a bit of

uk, stop posting this. Yes, he is different, and an unnessary change, but this gets REALLY annoying. Sometimes he is cute, sometimes he isn't, but get over it. But i do agree that Old Spyro looked much better.
