It's 1:29 here and I'm still struggling over rapid-fire assignments. Don't worry, I'm printing it out now. Yay me!

I have to deal with rapid-fire assignments EVERY DAY! Work were given out as frequent as real-life WarioWare. I hated it!

Re: Not Another Depressing Thread!

I know that i probably dont get half as much of assignments as some people, but i still really hate it, because just the fact that it wasw their. If it was for only one day of the year i'd hate it, obviously not as much as i don, but i still would.

Doppel's time is being waisted

Re: Not Another Depressing Thread!

how will it help you? Seriously, HOW? you might not do the job you need that for, you might learn it in your job training anyway, or you might not even need it at all

Your time is being WAISTED

WAISTED

WAISTED

Re: Not Another Depressing Thread!

(OCC: 20 is the maximum size as I have found)

Hm... How can I apply this to being an electronics assembler/engineer? It looks like I need to use geometry to avoid designing faulty electrical devices OR assemble a TV the wrong way.

Re: Not Another Depressing Thread!

wow! Its such a wonder that some people who havn't gone to school in their life CAN be an electronic assembler/engineer.... WOW! I am being sarcastic. Geometry may teach you how to do that stuff, but it can probably be learned in training and/or from common sense. I have learnt about 90% of the information in my brain outside years 3-8.

Re: Not Another Depressing Thread!

What!?

Well, I do agree that I learn how to use a computer by trial and error. So maybe I can do engineering by trial and error too? No, it's too risky to try drop the school and do trial and error..

Re: Not Another Depressing Thread!

Computers are simpler than electronics, so you cant really do trial and error for Electronics. but you CAN drop out of school and do a corce and actually learn engeneering.

Re: Not Another Depressing Thread!

I know it is, because the darn education system makes it too hard and stupid to get jobs, and to re-enter education after quitting. I am not saying that we should let dumb people be brain surgans, but just because you went well in the subjects you did in the HSE, doesn't mean you will be good, this is the same for thee people who went badly, who said that they were a bad brain surgan?

Oh, I see. The employers don't create enough jobs to go around.

That's why I moved... Ya know? Better opportunities here... I hope.

Re: Not Another Depressing Thread!

NO!!!!.... but that is part of it.
I was saying that the edcation system makes it too hard to get jobs because you need a HSC or a form signed by your principal to get jobs, for university cources you need to complete High School!

Re: Not Another Depressing Thread!

Yes... This is to prevent people from "cheating" the job places. And if you have not completed HS, you can't handle University for sure.

Re: Not Another Depressing Thread!

So your saying spend 9 years of your life (4-12) just to see if you can handle university? No way man, that sucks, besides as i have said, just because you did well in the HSE doesn't mean you WILL do well in university, a study has shown that.

Re: Not Another Depressing Thread!

Okay.... But what's better?

1. To have a background of what will be on university, OR
2. To have no idea where the work sits on?

Re: Not Another Depressing Thread!

Let me tune down my words.

It is better to have something than nothing. It is better to have some education than none at all. It's like having a half-dead flashlight in the cave. Better half-dead flashlight than really dead flashlight. :-P

Re: Not Another Depressing Thread!

When it comes to jobs, not really, and especially if they way you are learning is tedious and maybe pointless.
lets take chemistry for an example, you will need it to be a scientist, or someone who mixes drugs and all that, yet when it comes to other jobs well.... no! All that time in chemistry... WAISTED. Precious time you could of spent helping someone in need, or saying goodbye to your family while you are dieing in hospital, or just playing footy with your mates. i have much more to say on this matter, but you've probably heard it all before.
I've got to go and do some pointless homework, thanx for the debate.
