Too bad Freespace 3 was never made. It's all about how you market your game, and Interplay did a bad job of that for FS2, which is why they didn't deem it successful enough to make FS3. Oh well, we can always wish and wonder.

Yeah... I hate that happen, I really miss Interplay. And DESCENT 4 closed too. You know about those games, huh? You played them too?
