The hardest level in the game...

It's been at least 10 years since I last played the Original Spyro. But TREE TOPS. That level was a bi***!!! I remember that level by how many times I DIED THERE. The speed way jumps were so hard for me to land on properly. I don't know why but I faired well in just about every other level but this one. Maybe it was in the Beast Maker's world, I can't remember. But I do know that the Beast Maker homeworld had the toughest crop of levels in my opinion.

What was the hardest level for you guys. If you can remember XD

Haunted Towers was the hardest levels. We couldn't find out how to get to the last dragon. Finnaly we found it after a long break from the game.

Tree Tops is the hardest, but as DDR said, it literally took us years to figure out Haunted Towers. Once we got it, though, it was easy.

I used to find Haunted Towers very hard because of the dragon on the other side of the castle. But now that I've played this game so many times, I find all the levels easy and I can complete this game in less than a day.

I'd have to say Tree Tops and Haunted Towers were both very difficult, but for different reasons. HT took me ages to figure out, but once I got it, it was pretty easy to finish off the level. TT is just plain hard, even though I usually know what I'm doing.

Once, I did get to the TT faraway island all in one go, first try, without dying, just by luck. But other times it's a big struggle to get it right. So I'd say TT was the overall hardest.

No way, Tree Tops is EASY(if you know what to do that is). I think Haunted Towers is a lot harder, but I can still do it. I think the hardest levels are the Flight levels by far.

Tree Tops is a tricky levels, a lot of ramps and different directions to go in.

i don't know if these count as levels but i am having a hard time with some of the flights that are in the game like wild flight sunny flight icy flight and lofty castle is also a hard one to

Yea, some of the Flight levels are tough, had trouble on some of them.

For me, I think the hardest level is Tree Tops. Then Haunted Towers. I remember in Haunted Towers, going down the speed ramp, then stopping and thinking 'Huh, where's that dragon noise coming from?' But then I figured it out, eventually.

But Tree Tops, I still haven't completed it now since owning Spyro the dragon, when it first came out. I even checked out a walkthrough and they didn't know... tree tops has way too many directions to go and the tunnels all look the same.

Dudes tree tops was a piece of cake *boooooring* what i found difficult was that jakos stage in dream weavers it was so scary i almost freakedand dark towers wasnt hard! It was fun weeeeee!

I, too, thought Haunted Towers was hard. Until I figured out what I was supposed to do...I was like "This is all I needed to do?" when I finally knew how to get to that last dragon. Treetops was pretty hard too, but not like Haunted Towers.

I think when I first played on Spyro The Dragon, I had trouble in Town Square, regarding the Dragon on the high platform near the Return Home whirlwind, but thankfully, I found that in the end.

i think my most annoying one was (when i first played it) was dry canyon and getting to that dragon that you cant just jump and get there you had to glide quite skillfully (well it was skillfully back then lol) to get to it but other than that i think the hardest one is definitely dry canyon
