That would be nice too, but it's probably easier to make a movie based on the latest series which has more of a storyline. And TLOS series already has a cinematic feel.
Seeing the old version of Spyro again would be wonderful though.

Tho only thing i am slightly woried about is that they will stuff it up and give spyro a bad name. But i dont really think that will happen

I would have been excited but the sad thing is I like the old ones better so I'm not sure this one is going to be real great but

by the way garfield was a pretty good movie at least I liked it.

Well although they're using the setting for ANB and TEN it would be nice to just see those and the older ones for the movie and if anyones interested in knowing the 3rd game of Spyro will be released in october or november this year so i've heard the movie will be good i'm sure

Garfield was a good movie, but it didn't really have the "Garfield" feel to it. hmm i'm kind of worried the same will happen to Spyro.

I thought everyone knew that ALL VIDEO GAME MOVIES SUCK!!!!! It's because the directors don't even bother to look at the game really, they just read like a page or two of the main story throw the characters into some random situation that isn't related to the main story and expect fans like us to come in and waste our good money on this. THey think all because they put Spyro in it that they don't need to put an effort at all.

I for one am very excited about the movie, I just hope it's a global release and isn't limited to countries like America. They did that years ago with the Rayman TV series, and I was really peeved that I couldn't see it.

I think the movie has a lot of potential, there's been a lot of rubbish on the big screen lately, and they have a strong enough story to work with. I just hope they push it as much as they can. smile
