Hey, friends! After I had a quick glance about the forum and saw it was still active, I knew I had to register for it. I love Spyro about as romantically as one can love a video game, and generally it's the only game I could really consider joining a fan forum for.

Looking forward to having fun on the forums.

Ohai. I'm Shi, a.k.a. Kurui or KaosGirl. I do NOT like Spyro except for Skylanders, and I mainly only like that because of Glumshanks. But I am nice. So hi~.

Well, that's fine, of course, but... the first one, "Spyro the Dragon," came out in like 1995 on the PSX, and even I at 21 was too young to have gotten it when it "first came out."

I guess it's not that unbelievable that someone here would be older than I am, though. If the last time you played the game was a while ago, I'd definitely recommend giving the series another shot, especially since the gameplay is supposed to be so similar to Skylanders'. Sorry if I seem like I'm being pushy, but this is a Spyro forum after all. tongue

Yum some of these posts are reminiscent of the horror flicks I adore XD. Ripping apart skulls is rather cool. I'm 26 years old by the way, for those who are confused about me getting the first Spyro game. I've been gaming since birth. Literally. My fondest of memories are probably with the NES/SNES (Super Adventure island!!!! megaman!!! Dragon Quest!!! Legend of Zelda!!! ) and into Sega series, Famicom and Playstation ( Star Ocean!!! LUNAR!!! Hoshigami!!! Silent Hill!!! etc. ) I'm a HUGE gamer and I design my own games for PC, though I design oldshool-ish 2D games. I'm fond of sprite animation.

Cool, it's always nice to have people with some different perspectives here. Our discussions can get a little boring at times because we mostly agree on Spyro-related things or have gotten sick of talking about them because we all know what everyone's going to say.

I have to admit I've never played any of those games you just listed. XD

I have. Hooray for niche titles not known by the general public(Oh god I'm turning to a hipster more and more each day. That or I'm getting old, Which seems unlikely.)
