Announcement
Starting now, we (the administration) are going to actually be enforcing the rules.
*Everyone gasps*
Yes, that’s right. We’re really going to enforce them. Due to recent problems with spamming and other issues, we feel it is necessary to have set rules and have everyone (yes, that means you) follow them. We will be putting a link to the rules on the top of the page. We expect everyone to read them, no matter how long you’ve been on the forum or how much you’ve contributed. Failure to follow the rules may result in a ban without any warning at all. THIS IS YOUR WARNING.
Thank you,
BlueFlame, Spyrorocks, Spyro, and LoneKnight

Re: Announcement
Forums are supposed to be fun, but now we have to worry every second wether we'll get banned.
What, you didn't enforce the rules before? Because of what I saw you three did. o_O

Thank you BlueFlame for the avvie and banner!!!
You rock, and you're good at making banners & avatars!

Re: Announcement
I kiind of agree with you there, but this is a time where we really need to start enforcing the rules. The mods were very forgiving before, and it casued a ton of useless posts. I think if everyone cuts down on thw spam, we won't have to enforce them so much. I don't think it's going to be like this forever. I kind of thought Blueflame was being a lottle harsh though....

Re: Announcement
Yes, I was being harsh. I tend to get carried away sometimes.
We weren't enforcing the rules before and we were just letting everyone get away with posting useless stuff to get to be a Spyro Senior. Now that the ranks are gone, it's still happening. Either this has to stop, or we'll have to get rid of post counts.
DDR is right; it will not be this strict forever. The two main spammers have been banned and warned, so this forum should be getting back to normal pretty soon.
You can still have fun. Just try to keep the spam and off-topic posts under control. For example, this is what I told SFRB: spam while still being on-topic. Post your spam, and then in the same post write something meaningful. It works, and you can still have conversations with people in the middle of threads that way. ![]()

I noticed you don't spam as much now. You used to be really annoying, (no offense) but now you seemed to have learned the rules. ![]()

He still hasn't put it up yet.... Come on, Spyrorocks, I want to stop having to tell people off.... T_T Well, I suppose he must be pretty busy; he's still in school. ![]()
Yes, hopefully it will work. We never had any set rules before; that's probably why this happened.

Re: Announcement
Not only that, but a lot of people broke rules simply because they didn't know them. That was partly our fault, as we didn't show the rules. That's why we're doing what we're doing.

That is just too bad for you I guess. The rules on this forum are going to be enforced, and thats the way it is. If you do not like it, then too bad. Honestly, thats the way it is and thats how it is going to be. Me, and the rest of the moderators will enforce rules. We will NOT loose sleep overnight if we have to perma ban someone. It honestly doesn't bother us if you are causing problems in the forum and we have to ban you.
As for connor986, we could perma ban you next time, or we might give you a week or 2 ban. We will decide when/if the time comes.
It is all up o the members. If everyone here starts to try to push the boundaries, we WILL get really strict (Well, more strict then we have become now).

Re: Announcement
Sorry to post this often on the same topic, but I must agree. These rules aren't tough. They just don't want spam, swearing, posting innappropriate images, etc. They are to protect you guys, not lessen your grips.

Re: Announcement
I agree that this forum could use some enforcing, but make sure that you arn't too uptight about. We don't want this place to be like Newgrounds. You'll get banned for the stupidest little things there.
