Re: Pokemon Thread
I've never even heard of this band. I probably would have guessed they were One Direction or something like that.
Also, I had a homemade Pikachu costume almost exactly like that when I was around ten years old. XD

Re: Pokemon Thread
"We should all share this on Reddit!' Yes, because there's such a huge support base for PETA in the land of video game nostalgia and slogans relating to bacon.
I don't really get why they're doing this, though; surely they know it's not helping their cause...? Are they maybe getting ad revenue from all the sensationalism this is causing? Does PETA's website have ads?

Re: Pokemon Thread
I'd say Froakie and his evos are mine. That or Talonflame. You know what, I actually like a lot of the new ones, even if there aren't very many
EDIT: Nevermind, I just looked at that one's evolution and I'm agreeing with you now. Going to go catch a helioptile, brb

I agree. I said it before and I'll say it again. This is the first gen since Gen 3 where I liked the designs right off the bat. Instead of me taking some time getting used to most of them(I can never get used to most of Gen 4 though. Gen 5 I LOVED once I got used to them) This gen has a lot of Pokemon that surprised me in how good they are.
For example Furfrou.
I thought this thing will be a gimmick pokemon. Than you find out his stats are pretty decent and it has an ability that halves ALL physical damage. And since it's normal type it's only weakness is Fighting. So It's main weakness is pretty much nulled in half. Making it's defense through the roof.

I'm not a poodle fan so I never use my furfrou
I'm more concerned with looks than stats, haha. It goes looks, types, stats for me

Re: Pokemon Thread
I have a friend who chose Chespin while I chose Froakie and whenever we talk about Pokemon it's pretty much an all-out war on who's the better starter (it's Froakie)
