It was a grand time, young'un, come, sit on my lap and let us regale you.

In the old times, before the TORtanic first sailed, there were whispers, tales of a mighty ship, meant to sail the digital sea and at last destroy the derelict king, girded and sailed by the Jedi.

Some wanted to believe, others were skeptical. As the day of its unveiling grew closer, more and more wanter to believe, and we tried to warn them, but alas, no layman believes ones as salty as we.

The black day came, where the builder Bioware showed its grim work to its investors, and what was shown was a horror. What was meant to be a paragon, a craft fit to carry gods and kings was unfinished, broken, made of balsa and dreams. Seaworthy? Not even puddleworthy.

We tried to tell the Craftsmen, we tried to tell his investors and friends that to sail this vessel would anger Poseidon, tried to tell him ways to patch his ship up, to try and salvage something from it, but he would not listen, and grew angry with us for daring to, as he saw it, mock his life's work, and so did the people who hoped to see it sail.

Without recourse, our advice denied, our den of scum infiltrated by the men who droned on and on about how the boat was simply too large to sing beneath its own weight, we began to simply laugh, to mock, for there was nothing else to do.

On the day they lowered it into the sea, it sank. It fell into the black abyss, even as it sailed, dragging along its helpless men and women with it into cold dark below, and we say on the piers, singing and drinking. For just one moment, there were no trip*bleep*s, no *bleep*posters, no new*bleep*s or old*bleep*s. We were all one, celebrating one moment where we were all *bleep*ing right.

Our celebration was short lived, however, as the ghosts and dead began to rise from the sea, they came to haunt us, to tell us that merely our declarations has sunk the ship, and to this day they linger, trying to guilt us for magically sinking the ship with our spite.
