i had problems signing into SpyroChat when i did that, too. i think one of them was my name. try choosing a similar name, like SearBurst, or something, and see if that works.

i think you also have to sign up for IRC. i'm not certain about that though.

IRC doesn't require any signing up or registering.

For Sear/Burst I'm sure the problem was the slash. I'd try again without it like 36 suggested.

36IStillLikeSpyro36 shouldn't have given it any problems - numbers are allowed, and the max nick length is 31 characters. I'm guessing your problem may have been NoScript - there are scripts from aluci.ca (the network website) that you need to enable in addition to Spyrochat.com for the web client to work.

Yeah, for the initial login page you will need to type in your username exactly how it is. This wasn't an issue with the old web chat we were using because after the sign in it would as you what name you would want to use. This new one apparently doesn't do that.

There are ways to get into Spyrochat without having to sign in, though. The easiest is to go here and click on "#spyrochat". When it asks for your name give it the one without the slashes.
