Ratchet and Clank... Movie?

Let's keep in mind two things here:

a) That laughing was intending to be awkward given the context of the cutscene it's from. The girl was depressed so he was trying to get her to feel so awkward she couldn't help but laugh
b) in the actual Ratchet & Clank games (other than the first one) Ratchet's VA is amazing, and no other VA could do it.

I know the context of the scene. heck i actually like that scene for the context. I was just pointing out a fun fact.

I'm guessing someone new. Nefarious is by far the best R&C villain though

No doubt he's my favourite too but. Your right most likely someone new. Also Clock if it was you we would have a movie superstar on Spyrofourm.

Take it with a grain of salt. Meaning it's probably just a rumour right now and nothing to look to much into if it's true, then main villian is Chairmen Drek, I've heard his voice actor a lot he's cool. It would be cool to see Drek don't know much about the first Rachet and Clank ether. But once again take it with a grain of salt. Probably just a rumour.

While I would like to see something new, I think I would also seeing the story of first game as a movie. One of my favorite parts of the first game was Ratchet's character development; I could see a movie about that being pretty interesting.

From that it sounds like it might encompass the first 3 games. Galactic Rangers are from R&C 3, Drek is from 1. The weapon could be Drek's huge laser at the end of the first game (most likely), or Nefarious' Biobliterator from 3. Or maybe they'll take some creative liberties and just have of a bunch of stuff from the original trilogy. Lol, huge Ratchet and Clank nerd here as you can see. tongue

I'm pretty excited for this movie; it sounds like it has a lot of promise. Here's hoping it actually gets finished and won't end up like most video game movies...

Yeah, it looks they're actually making some good progress. That, or they're just really good at making trailers. You can never really tell these days.

I'm still trying to figure out the timeframe of this movie though. At the 0:26 in the trailer they have one of the Fongoids, which were only in A Crack in Time, but we see that Ratchet is meeting Qwark for the first time. I also Noticed Ratchet is wearing his Future-style armor too. So this could just be Rainmaker's creative spin on the series I suppose.
