You can go see it if you want. If Stormy doesn't want too she doesn't but it's up to you. Seeing the movie together I'm sure you'll both enjoy it. It actually looks good.

But it's your guys business so never mind what I say. Hope you enjoy if you see it.

Re: Movie Discussion Thread

I wasn't going to say anything, but since KL had to drag me into this conversation....

I really don't know how no one agrees with me on this. It's a Lego movie. The funniest gag in the trailer was basically "lol u guys his body parts fell off get it cuz he's a lego guy." I'm utterly baffled as to what value adults could possibly see in this. Go and see it if you want, obviously, but I just don't get what's drawing people in. Maybe the movie itself is better than the trailers suggest, but that wouldn't even explain it because everyone's seeing the trailer and going "wow, I want to see that!" I just... don't get it.

Re: Movie Discussion Thread

But... why? Why is it stupid to not be interested in a Lego movie? D:

There's nothing wrong with it at all. You don't want to see it hey that's fine. You don't have too. But hope Lambda enjoys if he sees it!

Frozen and it were two rare movies who just were really good. that is great. As for me I don't know how will they will be but Godzilla and How To Train Your Dragon 2 will turn out great in my book.

QFT

also i get the impression that most Lego things are just other things but with Legos instead of actors and unrealistically realistic CGI.

it seems from this thread the movie's better than is implied, though. still not curious enough to see it, though.

Re: Movie Discussion Thread

I didn't particularly find anything funny in the lego movie trailers either, but i was laughing so hard when i went to see it i couldn't breathe. Maybe I'm just easily amused idk

Trailers are always bad for kids films. Remember enchanted? That was awesome but the trailer was dreadful!!!

Ugh that movie was horrendous Zilla was just plain bad as was the movie. Least me and my Godzilla fans know the real G man is going strong. But the animated series and Zilla Jr. We're good. And truth be too Zilla is one of my favourite Kaiju when I re watched the movie it was horrible but not the baddest thing in the entire world so yeah. Not all bad no disrespect to Zilla or the film though.

Ya you think a 7 foot tall mutated iguana would be easy to find. Zilla just magically disappeared. I guess.

That line gets me every time I don't know why but I just lose every time I see it too random that's what makes it funny I guess.
