My brain is the best gaming console. It has over 1,000 Gigs of RAM and well
over 250 Yottabytes of "hard drive" space. Aww yeeaah. Oh, and I have a
"graphics card" that goes beyond any computer graphics card. It's the best.

Not going to take any side in this "console war" (which isn't even the topic btw, if you want to talk about that let's make another thread for it), but people do get annoyed with the air of superiority PC gamers tend to have. It's reason #2 why I don't use my laptop to play games, even though it's fully capable of playing most modern ones.

This is why I am not a PC gamer. I am not saying which one is better.

- I don't have funding for the hardware it takes to play PC games, especially
since games get more demanding over time thus calling for better upgrades.

- All of my friends, who play games, are on Xbox LIVE.

Heck. I don't even have enough money to buy Skyrim or Skylanders.
Skylanders is the next game I will buy, then I will see what to get next.

Skyrim just seems like it has too much ... magic and other weird fantasy
things in it. The only thing I'd have fun with doing would be chasing dragons
around (or most likely the other way around). I just find it really weird
watching my character run around with a random dragon tail sticking out of
his butt. I'm not into all of the "magic" and "enchanted weaponry" from the
medieval ages. By the way, I saw a video a couple if weeks ago ... you can
play as a medieval Cat Woman? That's kind of creepy. But I'm not hatin' even
though it looks like it. I'm sure the game is a very high quality buy, it's just
not my style. Skylanders ... is another reason for me to feel like a kid again.

mah ps3 died :[ was my old 80 gb

Sad :'( I more *bleep*ed about my WKC 2 however over skyrim due to the fact i was SO close to finishing it :'(

All 80gig fat models of the PS3 are pretty much destined to break. Happened to mine in the summer sad . Did get a slim though and saved my save files. Cept my Dragon Age files.

Still sorry for your loss. Hope you can get another one.

Older consoles like the N64, PS1, SNES, etc. never seem to break as often as the newer consoles...

Exactly, and I'm sure that the PS1 would work again if it was cleaned out a little.

Now almost a quarter of all 360s break down within the first 2 years. Not including RRoD errors.

I've never had a single issue with my Xbox 360 (as I've said in the past too).
Same for my Xbox Original before it got stolen from my room. My family went
through three PS1 consoles because the PS1 disk drives were poop.

I suggest getting a slim. You have to wait like 6-8 weeks to get it back. And really your just delaying it being totally broken anyway.

Slims also have less chance of YLOD.

I am enjoying this game. I love playing as a rogue who can sneak in front of someone, dance, and carry on without them noticing at all.
