I decided to buy Nier, and I have to say it is pretty fun. Combat is definitely too easy though (at least when using magic), and the bloom seems worse than RAGE or Twilight Princess. Other than that it is good to see an RPG by Enix that doesn't star an emo teenager. The villagers annoy me though, so I try to ignore them as much as possible. I hope I'm not missing out too much by doing that though.

The sidequests are pretty much fetchquests. But some have pretty good backstory(Like the lightlouse lady in Seafront). And a pretty good way to get money. Though once you get the farming in your house. You can just plant Rice. Alter the PS3 clock then you get instant Rice to sell.

Also Enix didn't make the game. Cavia did. There the same guys who made the two terrible Drakegard games. Enix jus published them.

Still glad you're enjoying it.

I don't think they've done that since FFVIII. Could be wrong though. Was Noel emo? I haven't played XIII-2 yet so idk. He didn't look emo to me.

EDIT:Scratch that Neku from TWEWY was extremely emo.

There realy ossom games, and only the first two were FPS games. they basicly were one of the first games to use "geo mod* then in the 3rd the made it open world and 3rd person. by that stage the geo mod is amazing.

its the 4th im wanting due to the fact its underground and stuff, but im hearing mixed things on the 4th but mainly people complaing that its not "free roam" like the 3rd but I never understood that asd the first 2 were liner and TBH the free roam was'nt all that goo IMO.

Anyway I was put on Nire.

Turns out there to much "twatting about" time rather than story time quest and TBH i NEVER bother with siode quest mutch soi'll just pass.

Woah there, hold on a moment. You are looking at Red Faction 1. I've only played Guerrilla, but I can assure you it isn't even a first person game. It's completely open world and is great for anyone liking Dune-esque Scifi settings.

And yet you played Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Skyrim. Which are more open ended and had more sidequests. To the point where main story were cheap excuses to just run around a dungeon for a few hours.

Cides the sidequests themselves are pretty much fetch quests. Where the reward is money usually. There are some sidequests that give development to NPCs and the world around you. Which made them useful. Still there optional. You don't have to do them. Heck I don't think you need them to beat the game. And you can focus on the awesome as balls storyline.

Yer but the reson I do side quest on skyrim and oblivion because basicly im in an open world.

so i explor and run about. TBH i'v seen more intresting games then one that requires a fetch for the towns folk and explore 3 dungons 3 times.

Like i say furry i might get it later on but I realy Ca'nt be arsed with that type of game right now.

That was Skyrims ending. And while were at it. So was Mass Effect 3s.
