It's not what I imagine you guys look like, it's just the primary image I associate with you all. Generally, that primary image is the person's appearance, but in this case, where you haven't displayed your appearance (or you have and I didn't care enough to look), the icon is the image we all see when we "see" someone, conceptually speaking. Associated image =/= assumed appearance.

you know, i belong to another forum, and the people there generally choose avatars that they personally "identify" with, or that they feel an attachment to. now that's... that's just great.
