I too have noticed that the trolling here isn't all that great... I don't think the term "nerd" has been considered an insult by the general public since the 90's. Nowadays there's nothing uncool about liking stuff like video games, computers, and stuff like that.

To my understanding, trolling doesn't have to mean being a jerk.

Yeah, I've heard a lot of positive things about it, but I've never played any of the other Elder Scrolls games, except for Oblivion for like 15 minutes. It didn't go very well.

Well, to be fair I wasn't in the best of places to let someone new to the game try it out. If you were to start your own game from scratch it might have gone better.

I couldn't get used to the first person camera and ended up walking around everywhere looking at the ground because I didn't understand the two stick controls. I think I nearly drowned trying to swim and almost got killed by the enemies because I didn't know how to swing the sword. Then KingLambda told me afterwards that I could have switched to third person.

Granted this all probably could have been solved if I had played the game from the beginning and gotten used to it, but I was pretty overwhelmed. XD

The third person camera in that game is notorious for being awful... One of the many things they fixed for Skyrim though!

I was a little bit overwhelmed too. I love exploration in games but there is such a thing as overdoing it. But i still had fun with the game though.

Oblivion is a difficult game to play properly. The maximum enjoyment is found out in the wilderness, headshooting deer and stuff.

Trolling is generally when somebody stirs up a group of people to start arguing amongst each other. Once that's done, you just sit back, put on your troll face and watch the lulz commence...:D
