The irony is that the Mature rating is mostly for general immaturity.

Latias fan, if you're going to post a video here that has content which violates any forum rules, you have to put a warning in your first post.
This looks... interesting to say the least. "Video game history," really?

Haha, the "mature" rating has always been funny to me for this reason. A lot of content that gets rated M for Mature is something that is very immature.

Sorry i thought the censors in the trailer would cover for that.
EDIT:yea video game history. This one game was the butt of so many jokes and the center of so much speculation due to its LONG development time. How it even managed to get released after so long will be a mystery.
EDIT 2:*Slaps self* stupid me i put the wrong trailer here let me fix it.

Duke Nukem was originally being developed by 3D Realms for almost 13 years.
This one about to come out, however, is developed by a different developer called Take-Two Interactive. The amount of time they spent on the game has been just a little over a year. It may have been 14 years since the previous Duke Nukem game came out, but don't expect a game that looks like it took 10+ years to perfect. It was, in fact, rushed fairly quickly.
Just want to tell you before you get your hopes up too high. I personally hope that this game does well, but by looking at the scores that reviewers are giving it I highly doubt it will.

Me neither, I'm not really a fan of this type of game honestly.
Haha, that does make more sense. The trailer you had up originally shocked me at its content. XD

I like a lot of mature games but this seems much too vulgar for my taste.

Re: We are about to see video game history tomorrow
I never even played the first DN'em. To be honest, it's not my style of game.
I am not throwing dislikes or hate on it, it's just not a game that fits my
style. I generally only play realistic games [stuff that can actually be seen in
the real world, excluding futuristic games], and Spyro & Halo are my only
nonrealistic [fantasy] favorites.

As far as I hear the game was absolutely terrible.

Re: We are about to see video game history tomorrow
On a note related to games being delayed for more than a decade, I can't wait for Jazz Jackrabbit 3 to come out, or at least be announced.

You mean the dozens of fan clones out there aren't good enough for you? XD
The games served their time back then where there were no computer platformer games. I don't see how it could fit into any place today. Especially with how game design technology has become so easily usable that anyone who downloads GameMaker or Adobe Flash can easily make a clone of it.
I think the next longest developed game in line is Episode 3? We all know it is coming... But when?

Re: We are about to see video game history tomorrow
I haven't seen any clones of Jazz, other than the 2.5 mod which I can't find, and a fan-made browser version, in which you control a green square in a small eternal-engine type stage. If you're talking about levels, yeah, there are a lot of fan-made levels. Anyway, it's been a long time since there has been a real Jazz Jackrabbit game. And I'm sure it wouldn't suck like DNF.

If you are referring to Half Life 2 - Episode 3, then I am as impatient as you are.

HL2 Episode 2 was released in 2007. I'm sure other unreleased games have been longer in development than Episode 3
