Nintendo really went hard in the paint at this years convention. Revealing a whole slew of new zelda, mario and third party material for the 3DS will definately boost sales and make fans very happy. I wish i owned a 3DS, because I would be playing Super Mario 3D and Luigi's Mansion 2 like it's my day job.  The Wii U is like nothing i've ever seen before. Nintendo is really pushing the boundaries of technology-enhancement and I give them a enourmous BRAVO.

Agreed. Nintendo put up an amazing showing this year. They really sold me on the Wii U, and they also showed a ton of games giving the 3DS some worth!

Also, this went a bit under the radar, seeing as Tales games aren't the most well known games to those who are west of Japan, but I know both Stormy and Sapphire Sheep are also fans, so check this out! It looks epic. (Now if only I spoke Japanese so I could understand what's being said XD)

Re: E3 2011

The PSVita looks nice, but it still has the unattractive fragile appearance of the older models.  Hopefully its library will consist of more than just spin-offs this time.  Sadly, all the recent security breaches damaged Sony's reputation pretty dang badly.

Agreed. Nintendo had an awful 2010 and needed an allstar showing in 2011 and they got it. Sony has had an awful 2011 and I'm eager to see how they are going to recover towards the end of the year and into 2012

Re: E3 2011

after seeing these videos there is no doubt in my mind that I MUST get Sonic Generations. Still don't really care about original Sonic but the old stages will be kinda cool to go through again.

... And why hasn't anyone done that with Spyro yet? Isn't that something us
Spyro fans have wanted for years on end since TLoS first was released?

Well SEGA is actually listening to their fans, not to mention the Sonic fanbase is way bigger than Spyro's.

Re: E3 2011

Sonic Generations looks nuts, and I'm so glad that after more than 10 years SEGA is finally giving classic sonic fans what they've wanted for so long along with making modern fans happy as well. I'm getting Sonic 4 and this when it comes out and I can't wait to play!

I'm glad SEGA is finally listening to the fans after all these years, and although I hate Activision, I hope they can eventually do the same for Spyro.

I don't really see the need to sneak in that kind of language so I would greatly urge you to not do so in future posts, make an argument using proper rhetoric and intelligent statements if you don't like something please.

Re: E3 2011

I'd like to bring up the Halo series again, if you all don't mind.

[hr:57b180a0f6]
There are two Halo games in the making at this moment:

[1] Halo CE HD, which is [generally] a modern version of Halo Combat
Evolved, and I am guessing it will be using modern technology and graphics.

[2] Halo 4, which I have a solid feeling will not be some kind of "milking the
cow" kind of game, but rather a mighty continuation of a series that was
dying out. I believe that Halo 4 will actually be a "revive" of the previously
milked Halo games [3 and Reach] and may actually be a more enjoyable
game than them.

As you might know, 343 Industries is a small branch of Microsoft Game
Studios. The people in 343 are all Halo fans, so they know exactly what us
Halo fans want. An instant link to the fact that they are Halo fans is their
name: 343; it refers to 343 Guilty Spark [I believe].

I am also looking forward to a remake of Halo CE. After all, it is the game
that sparked the legendary Xbox series of games. I used the word "games"
because Halo Legends made me want to barf. Heheh. [Back to what I was
saying.] I'm curious what Multiplayer will be like, especially how the maps
will be made to look like [Sidewinder anyone?].

No cows will be milked. I think they're feeding the cows fresh grass and
allowing them to drink fresh, natural spring water.

I really enjoyed both Halo 3 and Halo Reach, if any game milked the series it was Halo 3: ODST.

Don't deny that you wouldn't want the original Spyro trilogy if it was remade in HD.

But unlike Sonic. Spyro is actually a good game that i can play again. And hey maybe they can actually add more things in the game to make them interesting.

Sonic is just going to be remade in HD with no real changes or additions and people like this?

Re: E3 2011

There are changes. The levels are not the exact same, they changed a lot of it up to surprise the players. They talked about that in the video and showed some footage on it and I can see the differences. And it's nice, it feels nostalgic while unfamiliar at the same. Now please stop bashing. I'm asking politely.

As long as the only difference is the graphics and sound quality, I'd play it.
