E3 2011

Well, the first day of press conferences is drawing to a close.

Impressions so far?

I'm getting pretty excited about the new Insomniac game, Overstrike, but that isn't the game I'm excited about the most.

That honor would belong to two games: Mass Effect 3 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim! big_smile

Those 2 games are all i'm expecting out of E3. Cept maybe a Final Fantasy 13-2 trailer that would be nice.

I think i just fangasmed when he said that there will be a remastered HD version of ICO and Shadow of the collouses in September.

I hope other consoles aren't going to copy the Playstation Vita and jump on this social networking bandwagon. I'd hate to have to pay for service from AT&T to use a game console. If it's optional I'd be OK with it, but it would still be kind of annoying.

Mass Effect 3 looks awesome of course. And I'd be interested in Overstrike if I had a PS3.

Anyway Sly 4 will kickass, Lack of Last Guridian disapoints me, And the Vita will blow from the whole social networking options. I already have At&t(my parents are cheap that way)so that doesn't matter to me much. And no Versus 13 sad .Plus the vita doesn't really have any games that intrest me compared to the 3DS.

Not only am I excited about a remake of Halo: CE coming later this year. But they are actually making another halo trilogy, with Halo 4, yes, HALO 4 coming out winter 2012. I am anxious to see how fans will react. Most were happy with the trilogy and did not want Microsoft to continue it. For some reason, this gives me hope that more spyro games will be in the future continuing from TLoS

Thankfully they announced a wifi version, so it is optional, but I don't plan on getting one. I agree with you about the social networking bit.

Microsoft's press conference sucked in comparison to Sony's. Just throwing that out there. Let's see how Nintendo holds up tomorrow morning. (Probably pretty well, with Project Cafe and all)

Edit: I sorta feel like Halo is the Brett Favre of video games. "Okay no more Halo games after Halo 3." "Nevermind, ODST will be the last one." "Okay, after Reach, we really are gonna be done." And now this. Though I suppose Bungie isn't making it so they were technically telling the truth, but still.

I'm not complaining, I do enjoy the Halo games, just not near as much as everyone else seems to.

sly 4 did seem good however, the skylanders were only gold for the commants :')

343 Industries is developing both the Halo: CE remake and the new halo trilogy. I had a feeling this was coming because Halo is arguable the biggest name in all of videogames. Microsoft needs to earn money somehow, might as well keep milking the cow

Nintendo really went hard in the paint at this years convention. Revealing a whole slew of new zelda, mario and third party material for the 3DS will definately boost sales and make fans very happy. I wish i owned a 3DS, because I would be playing Super Mario 3D and Luigi's Mansion 2 like it's my day job. The Wii U is like nothing i've ever seen before. Nintendo is really pushing the boundaries of technology-enhancement and I give them a enourmous BRAVO.

Halo is no longer owned by Bungie, so now the new owners of the series are making a new trilogy. So there's gonna be Halo 4, Halo 5, and Halo 6. I just hope it will be good.

Anywho, as for the new Nintendo console the Wii-U I hated the name till my boyfriend pointed something hilarious out and now I think it's awesome. Here's a video to show you what I mean (only people who know Kung Pow will know what I mean)
