Is there a way to disable just the creepers? I don't mind zombies and skeletons, but I like my buildings how they are.

Creepers are the best ones! You never know what’s going to happen with them...especially in a lightning storm.

Check your router. Check your NAT and ports. Have you learned about port
forwarding? I cannot host a server myself, but I can connect without issues
to other people's servers.

I think it could be my router. I've been having problems with it crashing every hour or so. It's working at the moment, so try logging on.

Oh, sorry.

You did fix the server, but a new issue came up on my behalf. I can't join it
now because it thinks I am using a non-purchased copy. I bought it barely
two months ago. Seriously? I can't join a friend's server because the system
feels like jacking up? Heh.

There are ways for you to edit the server where "nonpaying" players can join.
My Xbox LIVE friends did that for me before I bought the game. Yeah, I was
using a torrented version before buying the full one. It was like a demo for
me I guess. I then bought it to support Notch and to also not have to worry
about server issues ... hell with that idea.

Do you know any way I can make it know that I am using a purchased copy?

Try backing up all your data and reinstalling everything. I switched it to offline mode so it is not connected to Mojang for now, so despite the offline status, you should be able to join.

HQ on the map is at x119 y75 z71 (use F3 key)

The server is up and correctly running now. Anyone here who has Minecraft,
we'd love for you to come join us and play on the server together. The IP
can be read from the first post. We have a lot of stuff already made, along
with a large laod of supplies to start off with. Right now, it's just Jazz and I.

It'll be on between the hours of whenever I turn it on and 11PM Eastern Standard Time or whenever I turn it off.

I'm going to set aside a day of the week for survival mode. The world will be backed up, and monster-spawning will be turned on. Afterwards, everything will be set back to the way it was.
