New episode. Time for discussion.

First I may be the only person that hates Smile, Smile, Smile, Was just too pretentious for my taste.

Second OMG I think we've actually jus seen the only character in the entire show, That actually has a somewhat normal name(Matilda)

Overall though I enjoyed the episode.

I don't know about pretentious, just a little generic, I thought. But suited well to Pinkie. Generally a weaker episode, I think, partially saved by Pinkie-related shenanigans, but still weak.

I thought the backstory between Cranky and Matilda was pretty interesting.

I loved how they let Pinkie break the 'rules' in animation.

Not that she was the first to break the 4th wall anyway.

It's been done before. And IMO was better executed elsewhere. This ones ok but feels a little forced.

I think basil brush was best at braking the 4th wall, because they did it so offten and very cleverly

I watched "Read it and Weep". I thought it was interesting.
But it's still not going to talk me into reading books. Nope.

It got me back into watching movies, if anything. Just watched Raiders of the Lost Ark. Then again...that was an assignment for a film class.

Why is it everyone hates the blond girl from Indiana joahns 2, i mean lets be honest ,she has more of a personallity than the "Oh im pritty so that means we must fall in love" girls.

I blame her constant screaming and how she always needs Indie to save her and the Asian kid. Cept the kid is more competent(He can drive a car.) than her.

Not that that ruins the movie for me. Frankly I hate people who thought Temple of Doom sucks. Temple of Doom was hardcore. When the villain took that guys heart out that was one of the best effects I've ever seen in a movie.

Actually someone did die recently. It's just a background character and the actual death happens inbetween episodes. Basically in "Read it and Weep", You see a pony with his mane shaved in the hospital. Possibly suffering from a form of cancer. Very next episode. You see a funeral.

Not the biggest death in the world. Heck I didn't notice it at first until someone pointed it out to me. But a deaths a death.

I just watched the new episode yesterday. It's great that Fluttershy learned to be assertive and all, but I'm sure she'll go right back to how she was in the next episode and all the episodes after that. That's the sad thing about cartoons.

Or you can try and piece together a timeline. But this proves harder than pieceing together Chrono Cross or The Legend of Zelda.

Well, maybe. Some lessons stay learnt. Applejack allowed the rest of the mane 6 to help on the cider competition. And Rainbow was reading on the Pinkie Pie lesson. Any more instances?
