So he was still alive well not anymore.

It wasn’t an ambush; they invaded his hideout when they found out were it was.
And surprise surprise he wasn’t in Iraq or Afghanistan he was in Pakistan, guess it's time for another pointless invasion.

Re: Osama is Dead (Not a joke)
I am a skeptic.
I think he's dead, but I question for how long he has been dead. The reports said that he died on Thursday, but intelligence waited for final confirmations before it was announced. It's definitely possible that he's been dead for a while, and *insert name here*'s administration waited to release the info for a rainy day. Stuff like that always happens. Get ready for the next new reason of why oil prices are dropping, "Because Osama is dead." Load of crap.
And more importantly, I was a little annoyed at the cheering and celebration in Washington when this happened. 9/11 was bad and we needed to get our man, but sometimes I feel like we wasted 10 years of our lives chasing someone who is no longer the main issue anymore. And since when did the death of one military leader result in the collapse of a terrorist force? No one is saying that it's over. But in case there is, it ain't over.

Wake me up... when September ends is here...

Re: Osama is Dead (Not a joke)
I still don't understand why some Americans seemed so adamant about the need to find Osama. It's hardly as though he was doing EVERYTHING, they probably had several replacements lined up long before he died.

I'm fine with any reason for oil prices dropping, load of crap or no. >_>
But seriously, I hadn't thought of that; I guess it's possible that's what happened. It'll be one thing the average person will remember as one of Obama's accomplishments, even if he didn't have much to do with it at all.

Ew, TheAmazingAtheist. I hate how he's always so overdramatic and angry about everything. It's like he thinks raging about Justin Bieber and teenage girls' magazines will make him seem intelligent and popular on the internet or something... oh wait, it does.
Don't quite get the comparison to Michael Jackson either.... No one was celebrating when a music artist died, and people are celebrating all over the country because a terrorist leader died. Duh? What's the connection?

Re: Osama is Dead (Not a joke)
I've heard about this and my history teacher talked about this today.
We sent like 40-50 people to invade his hiding spot, firefight happened and he and 3 of his guards were killed. They did a quick DNA test to make sure it's him and dispose of the body quickly then Obama confirmed his death last night (May 1st) at 11:40PM.
He was a big deal because he was the "mastermind" behind big events like 9/11. That's why everybody is happy that he is dead because Justice has been served.
As for ontels, U.S. Marines are NOT invading Pakistan. The leader of Pakistan let us go in and do this. However, we will still stay around over there until we know for sure the whole terrorist group has been defeated for good.

It's just words, get used to it.
That is his persona, he's meant to be controversial.

This is a wonderful victory both in spirit and strategy. Though we still have to deal with the rest of the snake now. Congrats to the excellent execution by the Navy SEALS. Hope that he rots in a not so nice place for eternity.

Humour is subjective. He's more intelligent than RWJ.
