The US Military wouldn't be where it's at without the help of the British
forces and Canadian forces.

I'm trying to figure out when the British help America. I mean, our 1st war was against the British so why would they help us?

And speaking about America, Government wont crash because of varies of different reasons but it sucks still, not as good as it once was when it 1st began, and America is the country the gives the most freedom.

As for the other thing. America is in two wars atm, one is to stop a crazy guy from becoming a leader, and i do agree with this war cause he bombs his own cities as tests! Like really?

Idk much about the whole Lidea thing or w/e that country is.

i will freely admit i'm ignorant to most of what's been taking place recently. part of that is my own fault for avoiding news programs like the plague. but part of it genuinely seems to be the fault of the media. our perception of things seems greatly flawed by the.. hindered/selective way facts and stories are presented to us. everybody in other countries seems to be more aware of our problems, whereas we seem to know little to none about theirs. surely the blame can't be entirely on our apathy and extreme patriotism.

mind you, i'll save my opinions about patriotism and freedom in the US. but i think you could surmise [guess] that.

Or are you trying to say that China can defeat America? Cause if you are, then to tell the truth. They cannot and even wont try it either.

As for India, I don't see much connections between them and us, and America has the most freedom.

I still kinda think this thread is plan wrong, anyways. America will never end, it may seem like it now. but wont, and trust me. I am ready to type a lot of crap out to prove what I am saying with that.

Btw, I know about the wars but don't pay much attention to them.

Don't blame the arguements on me, please.
I just wanted to show you all the video.

And Jusey1, I thank the British forces for fighting along side the US during
WWII. They saved US forces many times, and both countries helped
pull each other along during that war. Plus, I really like British accents.

I was actually referring more to the original topic, and how in the next few decades, China will overtake America economically, as well as India, if they do notably well. I wasn't suggesting they'd try and invade you.

America won't end, per say, but it'll go through some rough times, and it'll be more than a century before it regains its current status, if it ever will. Thanks to these debts, consequences will never be the same, as a wise man once said.

Also, for goodness' sake, it is not correct English to say a place has "more freedom" or "most freedom". Unless it can move. It's an immeasurable concept, not a value.

China wont be able to take over America economically actually. Ya, America's debt with China is high but that doesn't effect the economy. What does is how items are sold and China wont be able to sell things high because of a trade-agreement.

Yes, we are in rough times right now but not as bad as The Great Depression. Also, we still have WWIII to hope for, I mean that will probably help us a lot once it does. Sadly, hoping for a war is a bad thing.

^ About that, if Japan never attacked America during WWII, Germany would have won, just saying, and you may be correct about British help us but it was America that really made the war a win for the Allies.

Nah, the Russians would still have launched their epic killstreak, regardless of American support. Russia won World War II. They reached Berlin first. They were in combat for the longest. Britain helped by diverting some minor resources during the battle of Britain, but fundamentally, it was Russia that tied up the German army in situations it was not designed for, and then launched their incredible assault through Eastern Europe.

tl;dr Russia did more than all the Allies combined to defeat Nazi Germany. But yeah, you guys did well against that one small country that Britain had already lost colonies in the Pacific fighting against.

I didn't say, take over, I said overtake. Is English not your first language? Or maybe you're dyslexic? And debt will have an effect, because America will have to make itself less attractive to businesses and citizens to save money. And that will have a direct effect on the economy. Or are you saying that taxes and government spending have no effect on the economy? Because that's just laughable.

The Great Depression and your current problems are very different. In fact, I don't think we've ever seen a superpower the size of America fall because of debt. Except Britain, due to debts to America wracked up during WW2, but then we had an empire to sell off. You don't. So it will certainly be a learning experience for everyone.

Do excuse me for those patches of ad hominem, but it is somewhat annoying arguing with someone whose main tactic is "NUH-UH".

I laugh at anyone who thinks that America will stay right at the top for the years to come. In 50 years America will probably be at the bottom, or near the bottom of the top 5 economic super powers. China will probably overtake America in much less time than that though - an average of about 10% ecnomic growth over the last 5 years? That's insanity, America (nor anyone at the moment) can match that.

I don't feel like talking much about polities with Aceed but what Prince said here I can answer.

Dari, China's growth rate been 10% because it's a slacking country. China is behind everyone and is finally catching up now. China will become powerful but soon it'll be like all countries with small % rate. I still don't think America will fall or be at the bottom, though I do blame Bush for being an idiot and putting America in a "Crap-Hole" (I don't swear unless I am really upset).Obama, he's trying and doing well but he started in a "Crap-Hole" so it's hard for me.

Basicly, China will grow largely until it's caught up and America wont fall.
