hey guess what i got a girlfriend heres how it happened i was sitting down in my school playground and a girl named tanya sat next to me and asked may she have my phone number and email then i said yes then the nextday she called me and asked if we can go out togeher then i said yes then we spent 1 to 6 hours chatting then after she kissed me and said to me that she loves me then i felt that i was going to cry with happyness.

Just to point out, if you're young enough to have a "school playground", you're too young to be going out with young ladies. Not to mention the fact that you can't spell happiness correctly, can't tell the difference between an hour and six hours, and have absolutely no grasp of the concept of grammar. Oh and the topic itself is evidence.

I thought you were doing fine, until I read that she said "I love you" to you.
That's a huge sign that you should not date her. She doesn't know the
first thing about love, therefore, it will cause major problems in the future.

how old are you? (you don't have to answer that) if you're young enough to have a playground though, i assume you're still pretty young, you know? so don't go worrying that she's using you. Swaffy has a point, that this girl probably doesn't know much about love yet, and she's probably pretty new to dating.

it's possible that she's using you, but that's probably not what's happening, so don't worry.
and whatever happens, if you guys stay together or if you end up breaking up, it's for the best. you're still young (probably), and you've still got a lot of time to find the right person.

i hope things go well for you though.

Don't avoid her. Go ahead and date her. Regardless of how it turns out, it will be a good experience for you. I've probably said this a million times in the last week or so, but I'll say it again -- grammar school / high school dating isn't about love; it's about learning. If you two work out and end up together forever, then you're extremely lucky and I'd tip my hat to you. If not, learn from the exxperience. You'll have found out innumerable new things -- what girls like, what they don't like, what YOU do and don't like about some girls, etc. etc. etc. So go for it. No matter how it turns out, it really is for the best.

I'm sorry, but when did this forum become a 'listen to my life' place? In the past month, I've seen more "New Girlfriend", "Dumped by Girlfriend", "I am depressed", "I got a new bike", "Cry, Cry, Emo" threads than I've ever seen before. This isn't a personal blog site.

Although, I guess that I'm being a bit biased. I would never think the same way if someone said "I just graduated", or "My Trip to Japan", or something like that. These threads just seem so pointless though. I doubt many people care that their real-life friends got a girlfriend, so I highly doubt it would be any better for people over the internet.
