Re: "Judging the Book by Its Cover"

I didn't read your post clearly about it. I thought you meant something else.

Re: "Judging the Book by Its Cover"

Well then, it seems that you were trying to argue with me, and you just misunderstood what I said. tongue

Anyway, back to topic at hand. I'm having a hard time understanding why people are so adamant about getting the so called "haters" to be open-minded about this. Let's face it - this isn't going to appeal to everyone. They're clearly aiming to add to the fanbase, not to please the current one. It's no much like LoS or classic Spyro, and Spyro isn't even the main character. so the "it's Spyro, so it has to be good" excuse is null.

Re: "Judging the Book by Its Cover"

At least a few fans tell us specific reasons of not liking Skylanders, instead of raging and flaming on about it like little kids and taking their anger out on fans who like the Spyro in this game. I know the game may not please every Spyro fan out there, but it will probably draw attention to new gamers.

Re: "Judging the Book by Its Cover"

Yeah, I was flamed and trolled on for liking the Skylanders Spyro by a few Classic Spyro fans on DA. A few other Spyro fans were victims as well. This is what probably got the pro-Skylanders a little agitated..

Re: "Judging the Book by Its Cover"

But still, you can't call them the majority of fans. That's a little unfair to people who actually have good reasons to dislike the game to assume most people have the same reasons as they do.

What I see is you being upset that people are being immature and assuming that everyone who doesn't think like you thinks like them. The "majority of the fanbase" isn't like this at all.

Re: "Judging the Book by Its Cover"

Well, I was slightly agitated from the trolling I didn't deserve. Your right, not the "majority of the fanbase" are like the other fans who spout hate without saying a reason for it...

Re: "Judging the Book by Its Cover"

this is exact like how Sonic fans would react. I get sick of it too.
I never judge before I actually played the game. I mean, I've heard for example that everyone said Sonic 06 would suck so hard,
but I still played it because I was curious. And I liked the game a lot.
So no matter what you see now, it can end up good actually.

So everyone plz stawp judging before you played it?
kay thanks<3

I'm a secret duck who lives in the glitchy but nice Honey Marshes. My day to day job is to spy on the blue guys so they won't get up to much mischief.
