Re: More about ya self?

Ž · Which DDR is that? Well I've been outdated in the DDR versions so...

Favorite DDR song: Orion.78 AMEuro Mix (DDR4th Mix), Maniac difficulty
Orion.78 Civilization Mix (DDR4th Mix, DDRMax), Maniac Difficulty
Xanadu (DDR4th Mix), Maniac Difficulty
My Summer Love (DDR4th Mix), Maniac Difficulty

and the list goes on... (I don't remember it)

Re: More about ya self?

You play DDR too?! :*bleep*in: Well me and Blueflame are both o maniac level too. Hence the name DDR_Maniac

The only game we have though is Konamix... an old PS1 game. I personally like fast songs the best. That's why I really like Drop Out. It's nice to see that someone else besides me plays DDR. smile

I have never heard of the last two. That's probably because we have a really old DDR game, Konamix.

I know that last one though, Orion .78. I don't know what version you have, but on Konamix it's the hardest song in the whole game. I play that one all the time. ^-^ But I would never play it in the arcade though. I'm not really used to playing with shoes....

Re: More about ya self?

Ž · What mix of Orion.78? Because there's the very fast version (Orion.78 Civilization Mix, goes level 8 difficulty in Trick/Another difficulty and more than 9 in difficulty in Maniac), and the slow version (Orion.78 AMEuro Mix, goes level 9 difficulty in Maniac difficulty). You should really get DDR4th Mix.

Ž · Um, I only have the rubber dance pad with a wooden platform under it... Metal pads are rarea in my country. Very rare. You couldn't find bits of it anywhere. And metal pads are expensive.

Re: More about ya self?

I didn't know there were rubber ones. Does the wooden platform help?

We have a Red Octane brand pad, and it sucks. We have to keep un-zipping it and putting tape on the inside because it rips. The latest problem is that the back button presses itself so we can't even start the song. T_T

Re: More about ya self?

Ž · I'm not sure if it's rubber, but I'm sure that it's some sort of plasticy substance that is what we press. The wooden platform helps because sometimes our feet don't hit the *bleep* sensor inside the buttons so we put a wooden platform under it, to ensure that when we flatten the buttons, it registers in the PS2/1/PC.

Re: More about ya self?

We used to have two of those. They lasted quite a long time.... until we started doing the harder songs. We threw one of them away and the other one is completly broken- NONE of the sensors work.

Re: More about ya self?

Ž · Mine is still here after 7 years, and I've been doing the hard songs for 2 years now. FOrtunately. we were able to find a way to prevent it from wrecking, and I don't know what it is. Hahaha. What's important is it still works...
