it can be grammatically correct, but only under the following conditions:

- there's someone or something called "spyro and cynder". like, one single person or thing going by that name
- there's someone or something else called "Get Merry".

then the question reads like you're asking if this "spyro and cynder" person, and this "Get Merry" person are one in the same.

Here's some pseudo-code of what it would look like with the same keywords but a more generic language

is(spyro) && cynder.get_merry()

So let's start with the first side of it.

"is(spyro)" is clearly checking for a non-null object with the variable name of "spyro", or perhaps just any instance of the literal string "spyro" on this site. If it's the former, the gate breaks there and the entire statement becomes false since it is an AND and for an AND to evaluate to true, both sides of it must evaluate to true. If it's the latter however, the left side of the statement is true, as there are many instances of the literal string "spyro" on this site, heck even this page.

Now for the second half of the logic statement: cynder.get_merry()
This seems to be following the classical idea of an accessor, or as it's more commonly called, a getter. This seems to imply that the cynder object has a variable named merry and we are ensuring that its value is not null. Whether or not that will evaluate to true is tough to say considering we don't know the type of this object with the instance name of "cynder" from the given context.

TL;DR - needs more documentation, I would reject this pull request
