I agree, I much preferred Misty over May and Dawn... though I admit that Dawn is better than May... May annoyed me for a reason I just can't place.

I've seen the whole of Colosseum (well, enough) and it's good - but I prefur XD by a looong way.

Me and my sis have started a new game on XD and our team (at the moment we're at Phenac, doing the Cipher-Invasion thing) is:
An Espeon called Thumb at level 28.
A Gulpin called Gobby Face at level 25.
A Flaaffy called Yacht at level 26.
A Brelloom called Frown5 at level 26.
And a Trapinch called Morty at level 20 (I'm training it up to come into our team).

As you see we haven't gone for the usual fire-water-grass-electric team - well, if you want to raise loads of different Pokémon, you can't have a well-rounded-type team if you've played the game as many times as we have.

Yeah, it used to make me laugh when it used to get annoyed that they fell asleep and it would draw on their faces! XD

Ah my bad, must have read that the main characters were related from a false source. I liked the Hoenn episode when the Whismur fell asleep to Jigglypuff even with its Soundproof ability.

Seriously, I couldn't believe it. I was training at Mt Silver and came across him, so I thought I'd have a go at battling him just for the hell of it. AND I WON! big_smile

Oh, and I caught Mewtwo as well today!

Plus the fact that it was hailing meant that they never missed! mad But my Ampharos used Light Screen, so that helped a bit.

^ Yeah, that's him. The Pikachu's Volt Tackle caused me some problems, but a Pikachu's defence is pretty low.

Pikachu's OK, but like I said, it's defence stat is rubbish. Sp.Atk and Speed is good though.

But as soon as it knows the right moves, I evolve it. Raichu's a lot better.

Anyway, did you guys know that in HG/SS you can get a Kanto and a Hoenn starter after you've beaten Red? I got Charmander and Treeko because Feraligatr is my water type.

I'm planning out my team (quite a lot will be traded), and so far my team will end up as
Typhlosion
Dragonite (traded Dratini)
Porygon-Z (traded, but it should accept it - if it accepts Electivier)
Gyrados - the red one smile
...that's all I've got so far.

Hehe, my Arceus is level 92.

Nice team. I think I said what mine was... But here it is again:

Feraligatr
Lugia
Ampharos
Furret
Umbreon
Pidgeot

I have a Growlithe (traded from Pearl), Flareon (transferred) and a Houndoom in training, so one of these will probably squeeze their way in. Plus I'm training Charmander and Treeko, so they might join too. If not, I'll form a Battle Tower team like I did on Pearl.

And once I get HG, it'll probably be something like this:

Meganium (most likely)
Gyarados (red), Quagsire, or Dewgong
Arcanine or Ho-Oh
Jolteon (maybe)
Espeon

...And I haven't decided on a sixth. Probably a Dark type, I love those. Or a Dragon type...

I probably wouldn't use Ho-Oh on a team if I'm planning to battle real people. Unless legendaries are allowed.

I have 14 or 15 Pokemon in Platinum that I've EVed to use in my team. None in SoulSilver yet, though.
