Ignitus calmed down from his shock as Spyro asked him a question or two. "You mean you don't know?" he asked, before sighing. "Of course you wouldn't know...if he told you the truth, you would of known about me, about where you really came from." He looked to Cynder, remembering the other dragon egg that was sent down river. "And I should of know that you came from that egg. After all, it was Neo who helped you escape..." Ignitus looked towards the trees, to the direction where a black dragon was hiding and watching. "Neo, I know you're there. If these two are alive, then you most still be watching."

On cue, a black dragon that was about the same size of Ignitus walked out of from behind the trees. "Indeed I am." he said to Ignitus before giving him a smirk. "It would seem that we met sooner than usual."

"So it would seem." Ignitus said the black dragon. "So it would seem, Neo."

Spyro was still wondering what this big red guy was talking about...And another was coming , Neo he said.
"Well , that's good , but...I still don't know your name , and what you're talking about. You seem to know me , but I don't remember to have ever seen you once. So...What about it ?"

Ignitus nodded at Cynder's questions. "Indeed, young one. It was my job to protect you...to protect all of you." he sighed, looking saddened by the turn of events.

"Ignitus, what happened when I was gone?" Neo asked. "Why are you out here by yourself?"

Ignitus looked towards Neo, still disappointed by everything that happened. "The other Elders went out to find the other dragons, the ones that helped defend the Temple on that day, the day that you left to guard the eggs. They never returned. A few days after they left, the Dark Master's forces attacked the Temple..." he sighed. "I was forced to flee."

"Then they are probably still searching for you, Ignitus. If the Apes know that you fled the Dragon Temple, then no doubt the Apes in these parts got word of i-" Neo stopped talking as something caught his attention. The black dragon looked around, expecting something.

"What is is, Neo?" Ignitus asked.

"Someone's coming." he glanced to the left. "No...multiple someones." Whatever caught his attention, no one heard or saw anything, but Ignitus knew what he was doing.

"Who's coming?" Cynder looked in the same direction as Neo. "...I don't hear anything. Are you sure?"

"Apes...everywhere." Neo said, looking up. "They're in the trees, on the ground."

Ignitus's looked in surprise at Neo; how could they find him so fast? He looked down at Spyro and Cynder, before his expression changed. "Can you two fight?" he asked.

Things were happening fastly.
Kind of worrying , or...exciting !
Spyro had an already made answer :
"Of course we can ! When Sparx get stuck in a plant , that's me who save him , isn't it , my little glowing friend ? And some apes are no match for you two alone , big guys , so I don't see where there will be a problem..."

"Sparx, shut up!" Cynder hissed, poking him with her tail gently. "We're been watched, don't you get it?" In the corner of her eye, to the left, she spotted a pair of eyes glaring at her. One was barely noticeable; it was grey and dull. The other, however, glowed brightly and was emerald green. Cynder stepped back, disturbed. "Um... I don't think it's just the apes..." She whispered.

((She's seen Ulkna.))

Neo glanced to the direction where Ulkna was, but before he could see the eyes of his, Apes soon jumped out from above the trees while the larger ones arrived through the trees. There were 10 smaller Apes and 3 large ones. "I thought you were all dead?" asked one of the smaller Apes, only to whacked in the head by a larger one. "So Ignitus, you've evaded capture...until now."

Neo got into a battle stance alongside Ignitus, his blade-tipped tail shining as light hit it. "Spyro, Cynder, take out the smaller ones; Ignitus and I will take the larger ones.

Spyro , surprised by how Cynder just decapitated the ape , said while looking away and smashing another ape on a tree :
"Wow , sure thing that he won't bother us anymore...My advice would be to just smash their head and such , so we stay clean , like I did for this one...Or to fly away , but that's Sparx's technique...And I still can't do it...I prefer THESE techniques !"
He did some combo attacks , that make some fire while hitting , the fire wasn't really coming on purpose but was coming greatly...The ape saw the fire coming and , scared , dodged the attack at the last moment , causing Spyro to hit a tree.
"...Uh oh , I only used to use this on the little plants , but it didn't do THAT much fire up to now...Take cover ! I've burnt a tree !"

"Ulkna." Ignitus growled at the other dragon. 'What does he mean by needing Cynder alive? And what does he need with me?' he thought to himself. "I would say the same to you if you weren't against us."

Neo was currently in battle against one of the larger Apes, and apparently winning. The Ape was suffering too much damage as scratches and cuts were all over its body, while the black dragon was spotless thanks to his years of combat experience. Neo decided to end the Ape's suffering by hitting it with the flat end of his blade-tail before bringing the blade down onto it, cutting it in half.

Neo looked to see Ignitus talking to another dragon, the Fire Guardian being cautious around this newcomer. 'Ulkna?' he thought, apparently catching the name of the other dragon. His thoughts were interrupted when another large Ape jumped on his back, only to get thrown off by Neo.

"I... I swear I... Oh god..." Cynder trembled, trying not to faint. "Spyro! I didn't do it! It wasn't me I swear!" She cried desperately. If Spyro thought it was her...

"No, it was me." Ulkna said, not a tone of emotion in his voice. "As sad as it was - killing one of my own minions - I couldn't let lovely little Cynder here die. She is of great value to me." He looked back at Ignitus, his green eye glowing faintly. "So are you. You and your little guardian friends will resurrect my master - the one duty I was created to do." He turned his attention to Spyro and Neo. "Ah. The purple one. He, on the other hand, can die once I feel like torturing him, as can the lovely Neo over there."

Ignitus growled as he took a fighting stance, trying to make Ulkna back off. "You know I can't let you harm them." He narrowed his eyes. "Whatever you are planning, it will fail."
