Ubisoft buys EA = Bad
Valve buys EA = Good

Who else would be potential buyers?

Because Valve is privately owned? Because Valve is known for large and deep sales and easy distribution of games? Because they are known for using non-invasive DRM? Because Valve already has a large distribution platform on both the PS3 and PC? Because nearly every Valve game made has been critically acclaimed? Because Valve is currently one of the few large publishers that don't screw their customers?

What would the downside be?

They're also porting Steam to Ubuntu, which is nice. That $200+ you were going to spend on Windows 8 and Microsoft Office? How about a few dozen Steam games instead?

Nothing really. I can take it off whenever I feel like. I just have inflammation around my vertebrae. No pain either, I just need to take some motrin and wear a brace for a week.

You know how most people can crack their neck by rotating and twisting it? Throughout my life I've never been able to do that, whether on purpose or by accident. Now imagine you turn your head left or right. When I do that right now it cracks a dozen times. The brace is to keep me from accidentally continue doing that. If I continue cracking it then it will stay inflamed, so it'll keep cracking.

Well you can at least take pride in the fact that you convinced me to eat some minestrone. Besides, there has never been a single soup I dislike. I don't know why, but soup is the one thing I can eat under any condition.

But don't worry about my neck. Other than some slight stiffness, I have had no pain at all. I'm not really required to wear the neck brace either; it's just so I don't accidentally crack it. Also, if anyone wants to prevent it. Do not fall asleep with your head off the bed :-P

Anyway, I just got a 64GB USB 3.0 flash drive for free!
