It was worse in the U.S. Since their networks kept playing commercials. I hear in the U.K on the network it was playing it didn't air any commercials.

im not 100% on how it works but...

Basicly you pay for a Tv licence and that last...however long, eveyone in the country pays for it and that is was keeps the BBc funded, so they can make Tv.

but as the BBC is made for the people with the peoples money, they need to be unbiased in reports, and cannot advertise.

Wait, that's actually real? I like Mass Effect and cartoons/anime, but I don't know about the two combined.... Just doesn't seem like they fit together for some reason.

So here's what happened to me last night. I took pictures just for you guys. tongue This bat somehow got in our apartment and was flying in circles around the room.

We turned off the lights hoping that would help it find the window, but all that did was make it crash into a wall. Finally it decided to take a rest here:

And I trapped it between a box and the wall and moved the box toward the window. It was about 3AM when it finally flew out the window. We have no idea how it could have gotten in. o_o

oh my gosh that's so creepy!!! do you have a chimney? a long long time ago back when my mom had an apartment, a bird went down her chimney.

last summer, my cat brought in a baby bat as a present. not a very good present, obviously, but it's the thought that counts, right?

and clock-la, I'm going to assume that you mean a cable bill, not a license. a license is something you need in order to legally do whatever task you have the license for.

That's happened twice to me. A bat got stuck in first our basement, and then in the living room.

Aicebo: No, we don't. o_o There's a hole in the side of the building that we kind of suspect, but it doesn't make sense because it's on the complete opposite side as the room we found it in, so if anything I would think the bat should've ended up in our neighbors' apartment. I also suspect the closet, but I don't think there are any holes in it big enough for even a bug to fit through, let alone a bat.

I've heard that when cats bring you back their prey, they are trying to teach you how to hunt. I'm not sure if it's true or not, but it's pretty cute if it is that they're trying to take care of you.

Maxwell: How did you get them out? If it hadn't happened to land there, I have no idea what we would've done about ours.
