I have Tales of Graces f. It's pretty awesome so far, despite the rather flowery appearance of some of the art and characters that originally made me think I wouldn't like it. Gameplay is confusing if you've played other Tales games, too.

You mean It's not the same "Spam Special Arts button till battles over" thing?

Or was that Star Ocean? They both have exact battle systems so maybe.

Ok guys im THINKING of getting an Ipad. so furry save your ranting rage because im only THINKING about it.

But If i do I have a few questions...

Will it run MSn, Skype, and heck would this site even work?

There is a Skype app, an MSN app, and the web browser will run this site.

Personally I dislike most Apple products because they're pretty overpriced for what you'll actually get out of them, so I'd say no, don't get an iPad; get a cheaper Android tablet instead and save your money. Some people don't mind paying extra for them because they look prettier and sleeker and are generally thought of as cooler, but I don't really care about that stuff and I'm kind of poor.

TBH I'd say just get a smartphone if you don't mind paying for data (so you can get internet anywhere instead of just places where there's Wifi). You can get data with an iPad, but phones are a lot more portable than tablets.

I really like Apple products, and I think that it's a shame that people think iPods and such are overpriced. I mean, don't get me wrong, they really, REALLY are massively overpriced, but just a simple iPod touch (which actually isn't too expensive) is well worth spending money on, IMO. Macs, however, I really do dislike. Microsoft Windows FTW tongue

overpriced for what it actually is, could spend money on better things, free and downloadable programs for computer could probably do most things iPad could, etc.

I am laughing at everyone's biased remarks on this subject...

iPads, Androids, Macs, PCs, iPhones, Windows, Linux, etc. are all great pieces of technology. Anyone who chooses one over another because they think they are 'better' in a non-specific area don't actually have enough knowledge or experience with them to judge them. Almost all comments were cons, despite the questioner asking for pros too.

When did anyone cite any non-specific area as "better"? Also, there actually were positives mentioned, which you seem to have overlooked in your haste to defend your favorite. I mentioned they look prettier and sleeker. Hwd45's comment was mostly positive about Apple products. And you can't deny that 36IStillLikeSpyro36's post didn't contain some truth. It's not like Clock-la asked for a formal review; if she wanted that Google would have been a way better place to look than a Spyro forum.

Okay, so 2 out of 4 comments aren't "almost all", so you're right, I didn't really focus too much on the good things said, but that's because I'm more looking towards the specific areas of comparison, which I don't seem to see much other than pricing. Maybe that's the major issue here (in which case I missed the context completely and my point is moot), but I'm not defending any favorite of mine. I just don't prefer any of them over each other in any general way. I could say I use my iPad more, but that doesn't mean that I like it any better than my Galaxy Tab.

If it's any consolation, I would highly suggest a Galaxy Tab over the iPad. While the iPad tends to have much higher quality apps (in general) and be faster, the Galaxy Tab seems to have a much nicer feeling to it in touch. Unless there are iPad specific apps you need, there isn't really much reason to go for it, not to mention that with general activities (movies, web, etc), they seem to be pretty equal.

ok so I know you can't put DVD's into an Ipad, but is there anyway to get a DVD onto an Ipad? like some plug in or download yikes

But there putting it in Kingdom Hearts. Which is a series I actually liked(Just overlymiked.
