Re: General Discussion 5

Whaaaat, so that's what all the customers at my work keep talking about! You
see, I work at HEB (grocery store) and there are always birds lining all up
along the telephone poles and anything else they can sit on. Birds
everywhere, just waves. And customers keep bringing up "Birdemic" and
comparing it to what we see outside.

Now I know. O.o

Re: General Discussion 5

earlier today, i ate something called "Mac & Chreese". it's basically macaroni and cheese for vegans (because non-dairy cheese just sounds delicious already, right?!), made with very good intentions from a company called Road's End Organics. ignoring how that sounds like it's going to kill you, this stuff is just awful.

it tastes just terrible, don't even ask, imagine the worst thing you've ever eaten and that'll do it, and it smells like spoiled milk with an egg in it after being left in the summer sun. i am not kidding.

this is apparently the result of experimenting with flavor going on at the company, according to a review on Amazon. it's not working. change it back.

i can still taste and smell it if i think about it. don't buy this stuff. if you have to eat something with no meat in it, and this is your ONLY option, eat furniture.

Anyway donno what to think of these new "dark fairytale" films, the snowwhite one was...ok...just ruined due to the lead actress showing no enthusiasm or wish to act hmm

Are you a vegan? ...And did you order food from Amazon? I'm confused.

no. this food was purchased at a grocery store, and i just had to look it up to believe it - it's hard to believe that stuff like this could be sold at a store. i am not exaggerating at all when i say i would rather eat our furniture than even sniff that non-dairy dairy "sauce" ever again.

and nah, i'm not a vegan. admittedly, we just looked at the picture (and wonderful price) and got it. but if that were the only problem, i could still have eaten it. just because it's different, doesn't mean it'll be bad. but to sum it up, i can't find adequate words to describe the experience i had with this stuff.

Okay, that looks gross. Like the cheese is from those RBGh treated cows or
whatever, it's not even melted...

Re: General Discussion 5

Though the HEB brand Shells & Cheese at our grocery store (named HEB)
tastes soooo nice. I'm eating it after a physically tiring day at work (HEB!) and
it is making me very happy.
