Ulkna had sat and watched the entire scene in awe. The young dragon had flew off somewhere, and the human was nowhere to be seen. A large cloud of smoke had descended upon the clearing, but he could see in the dark. Glancing around, he heard a cry, and then a thump as something hit the ground. Rearing up onto his hind legs, he beat his huge wings several times, blowing the smoke away.

When it had cleared, Ulkna saw the human, lying unconscious in a pool of blood. What the hell?! He stood over the bleeding human. What on earth did he think he was doing?! The fool!

Normally, Ulkna would've left him to die as a punishment for his foolishness, however he remembered the human's desire to work in an army. Eh. May as well help him. I'll take him to the palace to recover. He grabbed the human's bloodstained clothes - the metallic taste of the liquid he was used to - and flung him onto his back. It felt hot as the human bled some more.

"I wouldn't get too cocky if I were you." He said, knowing that he could hear him. "Whatever you just did was obviously NOT a wise move. Think before you act next time."

Using his mind (he can use his mind to move things too), he firmly pressed the human's body against him, so that he would not fall off. Ulkna then crouched, outstretching his wings, and left the bloodstained scene. Winds were high as the storm was as close now as it'll ever be. Large drops of rain fell as the voice spoke again.

Helping a human? This is unlike you. He is obviously suffering. In pain. Poor creature. Why don't you put him out of his misery? Go on.

Ulkna shook his head. Lately, the voice was a lot more prominent, and, usually, he automatically obeyed its every word, assuming it was just his conscience. But now he knew it was something else other than his inner voice...

The Spire Palace and the capital city of Warfang were drawing closer.

Link was a bit shocked. Did I cause that damage? He couldn't believe it. He would not kill a person whi was not innocent. Must have been the anger... I just need to learn not to get angry so quickly next time. As he saw the human bleeding, balancing with his dagger, he felt sorry. It's a human, just a human... how foolish can they be, but how foolish can I be as well... I must do something!

He immediately knew what to do: he transformed into his half-form and casted a healing spell on the human. As he flew a bit to the back, expecting wild attacks, he hoped he could help him out. I didn't even know if he was on my side. Many Dragons I know wanted to kill me because of my shadow form and the things that I do... Should have known... He sighed. "Are you allright?" he asked.

As Ulkna battled the winds, he heard a voice behind him. He felt the human stir on his back. I swear if it's that cocky little kid again I will show no mercy.

"master," Jun started "Why did you just go in you know it was a risk."
buck stopped and looked at Jun.
"because," he said in a low whisper. He lent closer to her. "I have found his weakness, and that human."
Jun was surpized that he had spoken.
'wow' she thought to herself. She blinked and noticed Buck had started walking and was a few feet ahead of her. She ran to his side.

Buck looked at her. He took out a sheet of paper as they walk. It had a map and a place labled on it. Jun looked at it and nodded.
"warfang..." she said in a mutter.
Buck nodded simply. He walked on and waited as he did. Soon a man came round a sharp counner. He was on a house. Buck ran to him. the man looked at him thinking but before he got an answer a blade, was though his chest. He slid off the horse and Buck jumpped ou. Jun was stunned but ran and jumpped on the back of the horse. Buckhit the reins and the horse started to ride down the path to Warfang, where he might met Ulkna again.

Ulkna began to descend slowly towards Warfang. The largest city on the continent belonged to him. Its citizens his slaves. The palace his home. He grinned maniacally.

The magnificent Spire Palace was the tallest building there. It had three massive pointed towers, two at the front, one at the back. Ulkna dove towards the left front tower and landed on its balcony. He walked into a large room, with several chests, paintings and a large cushion on the floor, where he slept.

Ulkna walked to the cushion, turned, reared and tipped the human off his back onto the cushion. I'd better call someone to help him or he'll bleed to death. He thought. He turned to look at the human, and gasped. No gash. No blood.

"What the hell?!"

Buck rode on quickly and swiftly. He was getting to Warfang. He had been once and vowed never to go again unless it was need. Jun had never been but had found books and stories about it. He Saw warfang and the Spire Palace. a tower built by many slaves. It was the tallest building in the whole know world. He rode hard and got there quickly.He hopped off before the gate and walked before it. he scanned it and knew that it was going to be tough to get in. He ran to one of the walls and grabbed a brick and started to climb. Jun looked up and watched him. She walked before the gate and it openned as she was a dragon. She flew and waited at the top of the wall from Buck.

As buck got to the top he met her, smirking. He frowned. He twiched at a roof then to the Spire.
"Let's go" he muttered and ran and jumped on it. jun fllowed as the tried to find a way into the Spire.
Buck had one reason to get in there. To grab a book that he had read about. it is the only one of it kind in the whole kingdom. That book was a risk for anyone but Buck needed it.

((OOC: The palace had been there for centuries. All the other monarchs had lived there. He just took over when he arrived. wink ))

The voice was back. You have visitors. Look outside. Ulkna was bewildered. This voice was as if it was watching his every move, and everything around him.

Nonetheless, he darted outside and looked over the balcony. It spoke the truth. The human and his dragoness were traversing the towers.

"THAT'S IT!" Ulkna screamed, diving off the balcony. He had enough. He was sick of everyone opposing him. He had suffered that before, and was not going to tolerate more of it.

He span at his highest speed around the area they were climbing. "How dare you! Why can't your pathetic kind LEAVE ME IN PEACE?!" He focused and connected his mind with the dragoness. "You first sweetheart." He gave a mad grin of pleasure as he realised shockwaves to her head.

Jun felt the waves and flew back. the pain stopped her from screaming. Her body fell down the turret. Buck held on to the brick he had on and looked about. He saw Ulkna. A sigh came from his mouth.
"Why did you do that? We caused no harm to you. If anything it was me who was here to do something..." Buck said lot loud to Ulkna. He started to climb quicker to the top as he would be safer that way.

Jun felt the shock waves slowly shocked her muscles. she kept twisting and twitching as she did. Her body feel quick then hit a roof. The pain went though her spine to the rest of her body. Then she twitched again and fell off the building to then ground. she kept twisting until she stopped. She may of stopped but her brain was still feeling the pain. She laid there on the ground. Not making a stir.

Paths were divided. Link had to choose between the Spire Palace, which towers could be seen from everywhere, or the levitating temple he built which he called his home. In fact, he had no home, since he could sleep everywhere. Weirdly enough, he didn't seem to choose for either of them. He just soared in the high, dark skies, hoping someone would see him or at least say something to him. This enemy is just too strong for us all. If we don't team up, we'll never win. he thought, as he saw a Dragon lying on the ground before the palace and a human climbing on the wall. What is happening to that Dragon? he was kinda shocked. As he saw [[he can see very well]] a shadow of a Dragon in the tower, he knew what was happening. Better get there without her seeing me... he hoped. I must help... again... I hope I gain some appreciation this time, or at least a friend or ally...

As he reached Jun, who was lying motionless on the ground, Link tried to identify what was happening. No scars, no wounds... Must be something telepatical. He tried to communicate with Jun. "Hey, are you allright?" he asked. "ARE YOU ALLRIGHT? WHAT HAPPENED?"

Ulkna smirked as he saw the dragoness fall. No one, no matter how brave or powerful, could ignore the pain.

He turned his attention to the rather rude human who was climbing the tower. "You are trespassing, that's why!" What the hell are the guards doing?! THEY should be sorting this, not me! "I don't care if you don't wish to harm me. I will make you pay for your arrogance!"

*EDIT* He pressed his paws together and chanted an incantation. He slowly separated them, and between them was a green ball of magic, cackling brightly. Howling with effort and rage, he hurled it at the tower the human was climbing. A huge explosion shook the tower.
