The Eye of the Storm

Ladies and gents, presenting, the product of five minutes of Ace's immeasurable genius, "The Eye of the Storm". A demon cat production.

Well, that was fun. Been in a couple of interesting RPs and I'm finally prepared to take a stab at one of my own. Here's the scenario:

Having emerged from hiding, free from the opression of the dark forces, the dragon species lifted its head in triumph, but it was not long before it was met by a new foe. Dragons have been apart for so long, there is no order or law. Divides slice the people apart, and Spyro, the one dragon who all dragons might unite under, is nowhere to be found. In these chaotic times, new heroes emerge, hoping to unite the land, make an honest living, or even forge their own empire.

Now, I'm not big on rules, but you need them when you have something like this, so here they all are.

Rules
1) Obey the rules (no it's not a paradox, just self-ratification)
2) Don't be hating on each other, yo? In other words, don't fight constantly. Take it outside!
3) When you are not talking as your character, use "OOC:" or (()).
4) Use narrative writing. That mean no "Spyro: Hey Cynder!". Instead, use "Hey Cynder" said Spyro. Seriously, it looks so much nicer.
5) When posting a character application, type "Cannabilism" at the bottom. Also, congratulations for being awesome enough to read the rules. Go you.
6) Use proper spelling and grammar. Look, I can sympathize with people who haven't learned English from birth, but the rest of you have no excuse. I can live with the occasional typo, mispelt tricky word, or grammar mix-up, but if I deem your writing incomprehensible, that's bad.

If you break the rules too often, I will probably simply exclude you from the thread. I'll give you a warning, but if you push the letter too much, tough. You'll be out on your backside.

Element- Earth
Skill Level- Good in defensive techniques, but struggles when attacking with magic. Prefers to simply bite people's throats out.
Appearence- Rough looking, dark green, with brownish marks around her feet. Crest also brown.
Possesions- Camping equipment, a few scrap pieces of armour (to wit, right shoulderguard, right thigh armour, and jawpiece)
Personality- Impatient and bossy, enjoys a scrap, but hasn't ever heard of fair fighting.
Any other info?- Nope.

Skill Level- He is a ferocious fighter and marksman.
Appearence- His scales are grey and his chest is a dark grey. His eyes are blue.

Personality- He is a massorchist, violent but he can be kind sometimes.
Any other info?- He hates people he doesn't know, cuz he was betrayed by an acient spirit who forced him to destroy his homeland.

Skill Level- He is a rogue. He is quick to do attacks with physical attacks and can fouse his attacks with shadow. But has very poor defensive ability
Appearence- black scales, dark blue under belly and crest, black wings, deep blue eyes with a blood red scar across the right eye and black dark blue horns.
Possesions- A shadow emerald neckless around his neck.
Personality- Violent, knows nothing of 'friends', keeps to himself, but does anything if he thinks it right.
Any other info?- Hates people who take adventage of him or acts like they know best.

Ophelia sat in the Dragon Temple, that once stood proud and tall and was dominated by Elder Dragons. She gazed out of the window at the landscape. Several clouds of smoke arose from small settlements.

She lowered her head and solemnly whispered, "Where did it all go wrong?"

Ophelia looked at Nathan, tears in her eyes. "What can we do?"

Ophelia's voice was quiet and solemn. "Once upon a time, I admired him. He was an inspiration to me. A brave soul. Then he just leaves. We need him."

She glanced at Nathan. "Are you OK? You're awfully quiet." She noticed the wound on his arm. "I can't be the only one who has a scrap of faith left in me. You do too, don't you?"

"I still believe he'll return, but there is a part of me that says he will never come back. It's hard to ignore."

He dragged himself closer to her and collapsed there, coughing.

"God d@mn this bloody wound. I can't even use my weapon anymore!"

Back at the temple, Ophelia kept her eye on Nathan. In the corner of her eye, she saw a cloud of smoke larger than usual.

"Oh no, not again..." She gently nudged Nathan's shoulder. "Hey, wake up. There's a fire!"

The village was under attack by some kind of bandit or outlaw group. Without any army or justice-imposing force, the land had grown rife with warlords and bandits. Why they'd set fire to the village was beyond her, perhaps this was a revenge attack. Thankfully the attackers were all wearing black collars so it wouldn't be too hard to identify them. Mull reached a sutiable altitude, curled her wings in, and dived, hardening her skin as she went. She hit one of the bandits with a crunch, which a slightly more worried part of her hoped wasn't a spine. It was, apparently, so Mull dragged the body into an abandoned house, and dug her tail into the ground to feel her surroundings.

OOC: I suppose I should've mentioned Mull's ablity to feel the earth with precision. It's not unlike sonar, and it's very accurate. Just so you lot know.

Argon yawned. He was bored, not like it was a change. He sat on a tree branch watching smoke rise higher in the sky. A small smile appeared on his face. "Nice to see Destruction is still in this world" he muttered his words full of malice. "Almost wish I was there... or it's cause." he added with a cruel smile before jumped of the branch and started to fly to the smoke to see the damage.
