I have heard no good reasons about which console, the Xbox 360 or PS3,
is better than the other.

360. ive had one for 1 week only and i know it rocks all the other consoles. elite can play blue ray, internet is 50 dollars a year and is definately worth it, its not as loud as people say, and the rrod happenes after about a year of nonstop gameplay.

eww, internet is $50 a year?! SHoulda saved your money and got a PS3 instead; internet free. Oh, and Blu-ray FTW!!! It's also backwards compatible; you can play Spyro the Dragon on it!! Better looking, not that awlful chunky XBox thing!! Sleek and shiny!

Wii has free internet and SSBB and Spyro!
Spyro and SSBB ftw. Motionplus works great.
I kinda prefer Ps3 if I need to choose between the 2. Has bluray and free internet, extremely good quality. But I don't play fpses and reality sporting games very much, so I prefer Wii. Oh, well...

You overreact. You can always do downloads in the background, or store them up for when you're going out, or something.
Also, playstations break a whole lot less than the 360, so I've heard.
