Re: Healthy Dinner/lunch ideas :-P

I'm not that great at cooking yet, so for dinners I'll often make really simple things with only a few ingredients that I can just put in the oven or boil over the stove, like frozen fish filets with a little seasoning, baked potatoes, or some kind of pasta like spaghetti.

Sandwiches are really easy for lunches. Besides the usual meat like turkey and ham, there's also peanut butter, egg salad, or tuna salad. Salads (with lettuce tongue) are always good too, and you can just throw in whatever you happen to have in the fridge.

Re: Healthy Dinner/lunch ideas :-P

I recommend buying some chicken and grilling it. (I just use a small George Foreman, nothing too hard) You can make a salad and put chicken on it, or make some spaghetti with alfredo sauce and chicken, or chicken quesadillas with some tortillas and cheese. Soups are also really easy too and you can put all kinds of healthy things in them. I could post a recipe for some really good broccoli cheese soup I made recently if you're interested. smile

I'm trying to do the same thing as you...but I'm currently eating macaroni and cheese from a box at the moment, so...lol.

Maybe a vegetable stew.

It was "pink slime" before, obviously...lol

Yeah some fast food can get pretty gross. Luckily I rarely eat out anymore.

Re: Healthy Dinner/lunch ideas :-P

Screw health, that looks delicious.

Today we had sausage and peas. Incredibly easy to make both of them and very healthy too (as long as you don't eat too much of the sausage)
