I would really just prefer that they stick to TLoS plot and leave the characters as they are.
Watching a Spyro movie with Spyro in a form that I'm not familiar with would, for me be just like watching a movie that wasn't about Spyro at all. :-P

In my opinion, if it's from the producers of Eragon, the Spyro movie is going to suck. They seriously messed up on Saphira in Eragon, giving her bird wings instead of bat wings (WTF was with those producers?), they'll probably mess up Spyro too. I mean, he looks okay, but the movie may put him in a bad light.

The Eragon producers wanted to give Saphira a more realistic feel, so they gave her what they call 'sceathers' (scale/feathers cross). I thought the movie was pretty good, in itself, but if you haven't read the book, you wouldn't have the problem that everyone seems to have with it, and that's that they changed and cut out so much. Anyways, I have high hopes for the Spyro movie (as long as he's not grown up).
