Re: Tiny pic from the Spyro movie

If we're going to Christopher Paolini's house, I'll bring the matches. big_smile

I sort of saw all of this coming from the start, so I can't really get that riled up. Movies based on video games tend to suck (though I liked the first Tomb Raider film, except for the dumb love story part, and the Mario Bros. movie was awesome even if I am the only person on Earth who thinks so).

Re: Tiny pic from the Spyro movie

So Razz, did you read the second chapter? I edited that to your critique on the first chapter, and in the first one, I added a scene with the last male dragon being slain.

I haven't had time yet. Razz is an exhausted, employed art beast at present. I will try to get to it soon, though.

Re: Tiny pic from the Spyro movie

Okay, I understand. I explained the whole thing about magic, how it has limitations, and there some things that clarify the events in the first chapter

Re: Tiny pic from the Spyro movie

Yeah, the Eragon film was a mess compared to the book which I thought was brilliant. I know this is out of the conversation now, but... I LOVED THE SPYRO FILM PICTURE!!! And fan film or not I'll be the first one to get it... errr... PLEASE tell me it's not just an American thing... Will it be in England too?  neutral

Re: Tiny pic from the Spyro movie

Actually, no. I'm saying that authors don't have control over their property when it is given over to Hollywood. But Paolini did like the film, which says a lot about his taste. Also, I have been saying that I loathe Paolini, because I do. A lot. big_smile

Re: Tiny pic from the Spyro movie

I can spot bad CGI from miles off, and the only good thing about "Eragon" was the dragon...most of the time. You could still tell she wasn't real, but that was mostly the actor's fault.

Re: Tiny pic from the Spyro movie

Well The Eternal Night and A New Begining were supposed to bring spyro back from the unknown, but i think this movie will kill all hope of that revival.....

Re: Tiny pic from the Spyro movie

The first Tomb Raider movie was pretty successful though, so yeah, that's one, but I can't think of any others besides Resident Evil and that.
