Re: If you could be a dragon...

There are some noticeable differences in the physiology of the different dragon races. Heck, their body types are more different than what they do, as far as I can tell. The homes they live in are also very telling.

Artisans are pretty generic. They come in many colors and body shapes that seem to show a little bit of all the dragon types (not in a huge way, but you can see a little bit of the other dragon kinds in all of them). Spyro is said to be an Artisan. They're pretty down to earth.

Peace Keepers are very stout and muscular. They're built to defend and to fight. Most of their colors are designed as camouflage. You see a lot of dusky browns in Peace Keepers. It's likely that they prefer living outdoors since we don't see any constructed dwellings in their territory.

Magic Crafters appear to be very lean and not physically strong. Their colors are very showy but tend to be more pastel than the others and are most often greens, blues, and purples. They seem to be very academic.

Beast Crafters are bulky and strong, but not in the same way as the Peace Makers. They're colors are usually swampy greens and browns with the occasional dark blue. Their homes are very simple, usually just wood and thatch huts.

Dream Weavers, like Magic Crafters, do not appear to be physically strong. They seem sort of wispy and speak in a dreamy way. Their colors are mostly bright and vivid and they are very fond of outlandish architecture.

Wow, I've had too many years to think about this stuff. big_smile

Re: If you could be a dragon...

Sorry for awakening an old thread, but I'd be a Peace Keeper...but I'd hang around in...erm, Artisan world?  No...Magic Crafters...GAH!!! Can't decide which lol, both have beautiful scenery.  And as for Spyro...I dunno what he is.  There's this fan story somewhere on the net (never got finished) called Spyro Prime, it suggests he's a Peace Keeper and a Beast Maker mix...but that's the author's idea.

Re: If you could be a dragon...

I have always liked Artisans but I think I would be a Dream Weaver. Dream Weavers was more ethereal and magical.

The Dream Cannon is awesome too. Imagine if there was some idiot bullying you at school, wouldn't you just love to shrink them and step on them? I know I would wink

What about Young Link in Zelda: OOT? When he puts his Slingshot away, I don't think he stuffs it up his behind. :S

Re: If you could be a dragon...

Maybe there was once the idea of Spyro carrying a bag around with him or something and that after a certain amount, you had to take the bag back to the homeworld and place it in a pile near the portals to new homeworlds? I'm sure that got scrapped cuz you'd constantly be running back and fourth. Unless each level had it's own sac/bag. Would be a pretty interesting feature. smile

Re: If you could be a dragon...

As a dragon, I'd likely end up as a Dream Weaver. Not because I'm jumping on the bandwagon, but because it suits my personality more than some of the other dragon types. However, my ego tells me "be a Peace Keeper!". Wouldn't ever happen, haha. I'm not that buff.

I really like the Dream Weavers landscape, but I wonder if perhaps I have the personality of a Dream Weaver too?
