I agree. I just don't get it why people are talking bad stuff about it when its not even released out yet (and it won't be released for quite some time, yet)

Aye...This movie must be good if they are going to pull threw with this. I am still trying to get an idea out of my head if this is going to take off The New Begining serois, or the old games, or this is going to be completely new.

Even if is good or if is bad, i will see it, and i would still look spyro like all those years, i think that the movie will be awesome, and is better to talk and think positively, c'mon that movie will be fantastic!!hehe like the fan-movie that "someone" here is making....hehehe, this world is full of awesome artist!!

Even if it did go to theaters it would bomb. Seriously. There aren't enough Spyro fans for it to do anything but.
Besides, what videogame gone movie has ever done good?
I really don't think it's gonna work.
If it's even for real.

I alredy know that because it was on a Croatian Page so I did now that.And because of that I was confuse when I saw that on this forum are making a movie.But now i understand
And as you can see it will have a characters like Cynder ''Steve and Dan Altiere, who penned the fourth installment of Fox's "Dr. Dolittle 4," will write the script, to be based around the recently released "Legend of Spyro" trilogy of games, which is considered a relaunch of the entire series.''

Aye. SR i will have to buy it anways because if its made at all, I would have to get it. Thats just the way i am. Just like the Eragon movie. it was a discrace, but i still had to get it. I think its odd that people like us do that, but still oh well. Another Reason why were are all different.

I will get it. And I am getting the Dragonlance movie as the book was good, even if the trailer was horrid (part was cartoon and the rest was CGI), and no movie based in D&D has ever been good (Dragonlance is a campaign setting for D&D).
And the movie will be about the Legend of Spyro trilogy.

Frankly, I don't understand why everyone is being so negative about this and thinking it will stink before it is even produced. hmm Have a little faith, guys. Srsly.

I do think though that to make the movie a success, they need to:

1. Stick to the storyline closely. Absolute requirement.
2. Take a couple pages from The Lord of the Rings movies, esp. with serious/emotional scenes. If they can make it so that they have and we can "feel" those scene the same way the characters do instead of just being a special effects showoff or just centered on the action/drama, then it be good.

Points in particular:
-Keep original voice actors.
-Give a little bit more on Spyro growing up (and perhaps something on Cynder's corruption as well).
-Make the Dark Master like Sauron (ie. completely evil and corruptive)
-Make sure that Cynder (both as the villain under the Dark Master's control and as the young anguished dragonness) is handled evenhandedly; if this isn't done the movie will likely fall flat on its face.
-Keep the story focused on Spyro (particularly on what he is thinking or feeling at that moment in the story), going on as few tangents as possible.
-Don't go overboard with special effects. Bad or too many of these will ruin the movie.

A lot to ask, for sure, but if we don't want our favorite purple dragon to get an annoyingly lame movie, high standards are going to have to be placed on the producers by us, the fan community. Am I right? smile
