Spyro's Lair: Cavern Escape

So there's a new mini game on Spyro's Lair, Cavern Escape. Unlike Wings of Fury, I can actually play this one and I'm not too terribly bad at it, but I do have a few questions.

1. Does anyone know how many levels there are? I've made it to level nine.

2. Anyone else have frame rate issues with this game? I've heard there are glitches with it, but the only one I've gotten so far is that the whole thing is playing reaaaaally sloooooow.

3. What are all the gems for? I know the green ones are health, the orange ones give you fire balls, the blue ones make you invincible, and the red ones speed you up, but what's with the yellow and purple gems?

Thanks for any help, guys, and enjoy discussing this teeny bit of new Spyro fun.

Edit: Okay, I answered a few of my own questions. The yellow gems slow you down and if you're having trouble with a slow frame rate, just turn the music off. Still don't know how many levels there are. I'm on level 13 now.

I dunno yet because im on a new laptop, i still need to download modern flash imaging stuff, and also a higher firefox to use live spyro chat lol XD otherwise i would comment on this about the game.

Ive been on it now and i can't work out what the other gems do either really. Perhaps they are just bonus things i dunno.
