Dulcy the Dragon

Has anyone else here ever seen the old Sonic SatAM cartoons? I'm just curious to know if anyone else here is a fan of the dragon character in the show, Dulcy. Anyone who's been to my deviantART gallery has probably guessed that I like Dulcy (my fangirl obsession over her is probably unhealthy big_smile). Most of the SatAM fans either don't pay her much notice or outright don't like her.

So, anyone here a Dulcy fan?

Re: Dulcy the Dragon

Hee, I'm apparently some sort of awesome fandom conversion monster. I can make people hate things they used to love and love things they either didn't like or never even knew about. Yay for the power of random art! big_smile

Yes, Cree Summer did the voice of Dulcy in the SatAM. Cree is one of the most hard working voice actors out there. Like BIlly West and Rob Paulsen, she's practically in everything animated. big_smile

Re: Dulcy the Dragon

I've read many of the old Sonic comics, of which some featured Dulcy in it. She's actually such a sweetheart. I used to think she was some kind of gargoyle.

Re: Dulcy the Dragon

While I don't particularly like SatAM or Archie, I must admit Dulcy WAS a good character. She was sweet, naive, extremely caring about her family and never became too dominating. If anything, she was under-used.

Re: Dulcy the Dragon

Wow, I forgot all about this topic. But, yay, more Dulcy fans! ^_^

I've read very little of the comics, but my husband owns every last issue and he told me everything. I really dislike what the comics did with Dulcy, but I adored her in the SatAM. She was such a sweetie.

If you go to YouTube and type in "Dulcy SatAM" or "Dulcy dragon", you'll get one of the episodes that focused mainly on her (though it doesn't show her origins, which were never explained in the show; she just sort of...came out of nowhere in the second season). The episode is all about Dulcy helping another dragon by rescuing her egg.

I've been thinking about doing a Dulcy stick figure comic that's serious and talks about her origin and future (using only the SatAM as my story base material), but I'm not sure if that will ever happen.

Re: Dulcy the Dragon

This is probably really old but I haven't been able to get on for a while. I like Dulcy, and thanks to Razz's art, She's become one of my favorite dragons of all time.

Re: Dulcy the Dragon

I spent mine lost in my own mind. I can't remember most of my childhood. I'm lost in these past few years.
