Well, hello everyone).
One more Spyro fansite, hehe). Nevertheless, I'm glad to join you here! My name is Valeriya, though you may call me by my shorter name - Lera. And I wonder how come I sign up in here only now, whereas I could have done it before? Seems I'm one of the oldest fans of our purple friend as my first meeting with him took place 14 years ago at the age of 8, however, no doubt, there are those who love Spyro since the first day the game's been released. In my opinion, Spyro fans must unite to keep and carry the memory of him through the years).
Well, I hope to find the website as a good place to spend time).

I suppose I should say something about myself. Well, I've been a fan of the Spyro games since the PS1 days, but I sort of skipped out on playing the PS2, Wii, and GBA titles in the series, and I'm a fan of Skylanders nowadays. The old Spyro games for PS1 just have this sort of magic to them, the same sort of magic that the first Sly Cooper and Jak and Daxter games had, and I absolutely love it.

As for other hobbies, I play Dungeons and Dragons a lot (mostly 3.5 and Pathfinder, but I've played 4th edition before). I also play Magic: the Gathering, my colors are mostly Red/Green, between my casual mostly-foil Werewolf deck and my Xenagos Gruul Goodstuff EDH deck. I play plenty of video games, and I have a bit of a hobby for hacking and repairing game consoles, and I code computer programs in my spare time. My current favorite game is Persona 4 Golden, as well.

Well, that about sums me up. \,,/, ^w^

I'm new to the Spyro community here. I have always been a diehard fan. As a child, I had a room at my grandparents house that was covered in Spyro fan art and magazine articles. I would even carry the games around with me. I got lots of Spyro merchandise, some of which I don't have any more. I had stuffed animals, gumball machine toys, fast food toys, and others. I even had a couple of custom shirts made which I still have. I also still have the guidebooks to the classic trilogy, but sadly none of the games. I hope to get my hands on an original black label Spyro the Dragon soon. Spyro 1 and 2 are my favorites. I like 1 for the colorful environments and music and 2 for the orb challenges. I also love exploring the early trailers of Spyro. I have gotten a couple of ISO demos of Spyro and I love seeing the differences. There were so many interesting things cut from the games that I think should have stayed. My favorite artwork from Spyro the Dragon has to be the level art. I'm a designer and one of my ideas is to create architectural designs straight out of the Spyro games. Whenever I get some done, I'll post it to the fan art page. I remember as a child, I always literally wanted to go into Spyro's world. Spyro was my friend and wanted to "marry him" Yes! I later found out that even though he's a cartoon, that's still wrong. Dragons and humans are two different species!!! But what better way to explore Spyro's world in reality than through interior design? That's just an awesome idea. I don't do much drawing anymore. I mainly do 3d modeling and sadly, I can't do characters, rig, or animate yet. I would really love to reboot the classic Spyro 1 with realistic PS4 graphics. It would be awesome. ripto spyro

there are a few other collectors on here, i don't think any of the regular people are though. i have a small collection though. tongue

and i can relate with Spyro, not about marriage, but he was like a friend to me too when i was younger smile
