Re: General Discussion 5
I can update on Stormy's behalf. The seller is gonna put the machine up for bid at a price that is well within our budget. There are a couple others that are interested, but he thinks that it will most likely go to her. She's been looking forward to getting a machine of her own since I met her, so I'm excited.

Re: General Discussion 5
A bit sketchy on the seller's behalf to not be transparent about that from the get-go, but I really hope you guys can get it! And I'll definitely be looking forward to visiting again in the (hopefully) near future. It was a lot of fun coming over and seeing how much progress y'all have made in the past few years. and of course seeing baby sam
On my end, it's just back to work. Thought I was going to be paid for the vacation time I took off, but apparently not. Gotta love being a contractor for a company out of state. Told me I had 24 hours of paid time off - paid me for 8 of the requested 16, then claimed I only had 4 to begin with...?

Re: General Discussion 5
Have to get these things in writing with big companies like that, sometimes, I guess. That's crappy on their part.
Another update on the machine: I have a picture of it now, so it's definitely real. Just have to wait for the bidding to start. I'm determined to outbid everyone even if it goes over what the thing is actually worth because since the seller is local I won't have to pay for shipping.

That's pretty crappy. If I were a rich man I'd pay you in their place!

Looking good! You were planning on running a Stepmania/computer setup with it right?

Re: General Discussion 5
Yep, but I don't know how long that's going to take to get set up, so I kept the 573 and will be playing DDR Extreme until I figure it out.
Foam modding the pads and countersinking the screws will be the next things I do. Pads are pretty recessed and it'd be hard to stream on them without making them more flat.

Re: General Discussion 5
Nice, I'm looking forward to seeing the progress! And yeah the pad modding's probably the most important part. I'd definitely switch out the arrow skins at some point too, they look a bit tacky

Re: General Discussion 5
Best game <3 I've played through it three times now and have been wanting to do a fourth playthrough soon. Highly recommend playing it with a friend or two if you can.

Do you have a gamecube or PS3? It's on those too (and honestly tales games are reeeaalllyyy not suited for PC unless you're using a controller anyway)

Re: General Discussion 5
I have got a WII , so i suppose i can play it there. And i do have a controller for PC, they help a lot in some games. I couldn't emulate the original spyro trilogy without one on PC , it's so much better with it.

Re: General Discussion 5
I need to play that one. It takes place in the same world as Symphonia, but 1000 or so years in the future.

Re: General Discussion 5
Good luck hope all goes well. Tales of Synphonia is great played it with friends and we enjoyed it tons. When I burrowed it I use to copy the Desians inferior beings line and said it for fun whenever I beat them. Good times.

I finished TLOS New Beginning! Was much better than I expected and was lot of fun! Thought the electricity breath made it very easy at times Now I understand how people find Eternal Night much more difficult.
