Spyro and darkness

Have anyone noticed that around 4 of the ps2 version things of spyro relate to darkness
we have shadow legacy (shadows are dark)
We have TLOFANB (well the word dark or darkness comes over several times during the game, not to mention most of the olours are dark, and cynder shes one dark dragon
We have AHT, well Red likes to plant DARK gems!

ayway, have fun

Re: Spyro and darkness

yeah thats a good thing spyro should be evolving into something more than a kids game

reason: i thinks its about time that spyro should become something more than he should be

Re: Spyro and darkness

well i agree, if insomniac DID stick with spyro and made spyro 3 clones with different levels and collectables it would be fun for a while but then get boring, i think someone should get there act together and made a game cross between year of the dragon and TLOSANB, cause 1 is THE BEST GAME and the other is THE WICKIDEST GAME IN TERMS OF GAMEPLAY! (sorry i once said that TLOSANB had horrible gameplay, i must of been drunk XD)

Re: Spyro and darkness

OMG! I hate the darkness coming into Spyro games. It just makes it feel...depressing.

Re: Spyro and darkness

Yes, it's called Cool-Goth-Black-and-Black Goth Game Studios (of darkness). OF COURSE its not real! I'm making a loke that is related to the subject.

Re: Spyro and darkness

Don't ask, I just found it appropiate for the subject. I google imaged "Goth Group" for a group shot.

The new games are very dark, aren't they!

Re: Spyro and darkness

I actually the darkness factor in Ratchet: Deadlocked. It went pretty well with the series (unlike Spyro).

Re: Spyro and darkness

We are seeing a more mature Spyro now than in previous games. ANB was short, but it involved lots of action, danger, powers, and just a dash, just a hint of romance. hopefully, Eternal Night will be longer, and delve more into Spyro and Cynder's relationship. Cynder's a very interesting character, she deserves a great backstory..

Re: Spyro and darkness

The new characters are great and all, but I personally would prefer a game like the original game.
